today i bought a galaxy s 9003 the samsung box claims 4 gb of internal storage memory , however when i go and see the internal memory of the phone , it tells me total memory 1.82 gb is available , i am puzzled , how is it , i brought it from spice hot spot , rajouri garden >> is samsung lying about the internal memory ? pls advise .The people from SPICE HOTSPOT, and their SAMSUNG chanpion is also clueless ??

I bought this phone abou... moreUse any Free Software from Market like App2SD, MovetoSD, with the help of this software you can move the moveable applications from Internal Phone to Internal SD Card, even from Taskmanager - download - open the installed application from here, if you find move to SD option highlited then this application can be moved, So just click on it, it will move your application to Internal SD.
Seperate Software will give you option in notification that if application is movable then show you the message and click on it get option to move....

Hello, i am a newby in this phone. I bought this phone about 1 week ago.
I have a question, is there any way to move apps from internal phone storage to internal SD card...? or it can be moved to external SD card only..?

and if you want to root without changing roms then install Z4root from xda....., and connect through usb (debug mode) then start your application (Android application Z4Root) it will start rooting (Simple) before start rooting close all the application and free the maximum ram, so it will work faster, if it take more time, then remove the battery,usb cable then insert battery and start handset, after start connect usb (debug mode) then start once again rooting it if finish and restart your handset and rooted sucessfully. you can install any application which required rooting like Titanium Backup, Battery Caliberation.. Etc.

hey guys its been a moth i ve been using this phone....the phones gr8 on every aspect...apart frm the battery life..it hardly gives around 12hrs on moderate usage and aound 4 to 6 hrs on heavy usage....i was planning to root my phone...any1s tries it...?they say there r fixes which help improve battery aft rooting.

I am using Vodphone Data Plan: (6 GB for Rs.98/-) in Hyderabad. and activated by 6th April 11, and till date i am brosed / downloaded 500 MB only.
i dowloaded around 35+ applications, and around 150 MB videos and songs. in between around 250 MB data downloaded through Wifi from my office and both the data transfer speed is good.
i am using 3 browers: 1.Defualt. 2. Opera Mini. 3.Dolphin 3D.
all the browers are Fast and provide download tools, Opera Mini provide resume option for download.
i am using TubeMete for downloading Youtube videos in many formats like mp4, avi, mp3.
i prefer to use advance remover and default task for closing hidden applications and free the ram.
Hoping that Samsung India will provide update (Gengerbird) to us by soon after it provide update to it's Galaxy S. and if Gingerbird support to move applications from Internal SD Card to External SD Card it is great, as of now applications are moved from Phone Memory to Internal SD Memory only.
Equalizer for Music player is also not much loud, So if update provide better Equalizer and this handset speaker is good....
Worth buying, and guy's are thinking about to buy, just buy it as this handset is very good.

and if still it not solve, just check in settings>about>Legal>Divx and see Reigster is greadout or it still highlited... if it is greadout then unregister is highlited.
So divx is registred in your handset. if not then try to regernate video through PC Divx Software and same copy to your phone and it is better to transfer through divx itself by choosing usb divce.

i cant browse anything from the ne... moreContact the phone service provider. Ask them to activate the data plan on your number in case you are using a post paid number. If pre-paid call the customer service and ask them for Data plan recharge coupons.
Please note that this phone opens every page in HTML format (like the way it opens on lapotp/dekstop). Hence it usages lot of data.
Be very careful with your data usages. Install "NetCounter" from Andriod Market and keep a daily/hourly check, else you might end up paying a lot of money on data.
I'm using the same phone, and installing applications, music, you tube and games ate almost 3 GB of data in just 9 days. I have now opted for an unlimited download data plan.
