Im not an xtreme gamer but would luv to play mor games for many hours.. and would like to use many useful apps and many exiting games(not vry heavy grphic games,but good grphic games) from android market... wil use wifi more... wil do calls average... wil play more games & use apps.. wil msgin more... wil listenin to songs more time... takin pics and vid average.. pls guide me properly whether GALAXY S SLCD fulfill my desires... or is ther any othr gud phones.. my budget is upto 22k..

To Improve battery life, root your phone,
to now more about rooting and easy rooting with android application visit:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=833953
and install the application, once the rooted, install bettery caliberation and other root required application, easy way to unroot is also possible...

It is a very nice phone. I really like it. Its complete nothing else....from hardware to Software to OS. Its number 1!!!

This phones SAR is 1.62 W/KG which is more than the recommend FCC range of 1.6 W/KG. Please note if the SAR is greater, then the phone emits more radiation and hence a greater health risk.

its over 2 weeks now since i m using the phone.
. SAD that today i see dead pixel on my screen, don't know if thats covered under warranty.
. A-GPS to fast
. GPS bit slow, need really clear top view to get satellite ack.
Battery Life.
. OK OK
. NO FOR HEAVY USERs, buy a spare battery, the phone worst is that it takes 4 to 5 hours to charge completely.
GOOD PART :-
Awesome display
GOOD for reading books
FAST
Superb design brown is better than black midnight model.

For everyone complaining about the battery life:
With heavy usage i get :18-19hours
messaging:60-70
Music:4-6hours
video:40min
phone: 3-4hours
skype,yahoo,whatapp,gmail,facebook and few more apps all running in background.
(NOTE: gps and maps can greatly reduce ur battery)
with normal usage : 25 hours
Tips: for extended battery, dont use maps and gps unless required
Keep on checking for running processes and do clear ram.
Reduce the number of homescreens(i have launcher pro with 5 home screens and 3d effects)
Full charge the mobile until it shows completly charged for 2-3 cycles in a month.

I've brought it a week ago. So far i think this stuff is really good. Except the battery life, so dissapointed. Can anyone tell me how to fix this problem?? Thx.

this phone is a great device in this price range.
Audio:- though built-in speaker is very bad. But you have to check it out with a decent headphones.. its awesome!!! The default player has virtual surround 5.1 support. turn that on guys... and feel the difference. I am using a creative headphones. the audio is amazing!

Don't worry. You have to activate the vodafone gprs to access market. NOT Vodafone live. Both are same data plan/ tariff. In fact I am on Vodafone, took 6GB plan for 127/- but its hardly 1GB after 10days usage. Mail/ google talk/ skype/ facebook/ and even downloaded few apps.
First you activate Vodafone gprs (I think you have to sent SMS "ACT USB" to 111 OR "ACT MY DATA" to 111. OR "ACT VMC" to 144 OR call customer care): then
Go to Settings> Wireless and network> Mobile network> Access point names> select Vodafone_gprs. (you can see the Vodafone live is also there but don't choose that) Thats it!
OR; You can simply walk in to a vodafone store, they will help you to sort it out in few min.

VERY VERY BAD MOBILE FOR MUSIC
Dont buy it . Its like ordinary china mobile in music
No stereo cross talk its worst i ever saw in music.
Not much sound in video player in earphones and in loud speaker performance is poor.
Its getting heat quickly
Battery backup is not impressive .
THIS MIGHT BE THE REASON, THIS SITE DIDN'T PUBLISH AUDIO TEST DETAILS TO HELP SAMSUNG

Hi All, I bought Galaxy SL i9003 one month back.
Recently I have been facing one problem. The phone switches off automatically even if the battery charging is full.
So far the phone switched off automatically 3 times when the phone was idle and battery was almost full.
Has anyone faced this problem? or Has anyone know the solution for this problem? Please reply.
