Folders names should be:-

Finally, I got my Galaxy SL from Letsbuy, it is super, very good feather touch, smooth scroll, Super Market,
i am charged batter in Off mode to 98% and then used internet by wifi around 2 hours and other features and standby, talk-time and battery last for 24 hours.
i am thinking that, random recharing of battery is may last long, so i am charging in full (switch off mode) and drain to the full status.
i have few questions: how to register Divx, (it was in Settings>About>Legal>License>Divx>Register, where i can see the code, but the shown site, not accepting registration.
many hidden applications are running, how to see and if not required then kill...?
and any other battery enhancement option......if any...

here are a few tips to people who are new to android!
first of all i am in a position to write this because i have used android on htc desire, wildfire, samsung ace and on various other devices....
To get the best out of ur galaxy sl do the following
1. Do not use live wallpapers...
2. if u are not using all 7 home screens...delete them...it saves memory for smooth running
3.close background data and do not allow facebook, gmail etc to update automatically....u can always start the app on ur own and then update it manually...this saves lots of data and also improves battery life a lot
4.set the screen brightness to 20-30% ...unclick auto brightnesss. believe me with the S-LCD screen u dont need mr brightness even if u are blind
5.remove unnecessary widgets from ur homescreens...keep things that are of utility only....
follow the above rules and then u will see what a lovely beast u own!

guys!
i bought the galaxy sl yesterday from jaipur for rs 19500.
the phone is just awesome....
screen is great!
i have kept the brightness at hardly 20% and it still looks great inside and outside both...
as far as the battery goes...i charged the phone in bits and pieces for around 4 hours and i have never gotten a low battery sign!
my usage has been 2 hours talk time...i have downloaded various apps
played with apps for an hour or so
heard music for an hour, watched a movie for 30 mins...
i dont seem to understand why people are facing battery issues!
perhaps they need to optimize their usage.... awesome phone!learn how to use it properly! its a phone not a freaking personal computer! and then u will love it!

got my sl just 2 days back and I have to say that am addicted to this phone.i wil recommend it to everyone with 20k budget.just one question though is there a way to set ringtone of your choice? or the only ones which come with the phone.i was able to do it by installing mp3 ringtone maker but just want know can it be done without installing an outside software?

so far samsung's product very competitive than competitors especially in its technology & features,in some way its strenth on some feature but another have any weaknesses, so be selective to buy the product base on your need

Regarding Battery, this phone easily gives 24 hours in heavy use mode (like me). I absolutely don't trust anyone saying 2 hrs. or 4 hrs. Sorry. Its common sense that if you leave all the features open (WiFi, GPS, BlueTooth, Background Sync, etc.) and install unnecessary hundreds of applications your battery will surely be a mess. Isn't it ?
Read myprevious posts about Battery and other things. Should help everybody.

If you have any problem regarding battery life. Pase download an application called juice dfende from Market. My personal experience is good. No harm in trying. It increases battery life by 1.8 times. It is free. Hope this helps. I have a LG OPTIMUS ONEit really helped solve my problem.

hi all
Any body can say how to reduce cell stand by power,bcas my in my battery option shows cell stand by eat 40% and cell idle eat 35% power, is it correct or wrong, bcas i lost my full battery in 2 hours, so what i have to do? my display brightness also in auto only, please any can help
