hi All,
My Battery drained withn 2-3 hrs, i check the Battery usage, it shows the cell stand by is 40%, this one how can i void it , please suggest anyone/

Switch off these to properly use battery and have better life out of it.

APN (Mobile Internet)Press Power button for 2 sec and you will have option.
Animations (not much difference)
Live Wallpapers (big difference)
Keep brightness low. 20-30% is great.
Use AutoKiller and Aggressive preset (need ROOT)
Use no or less widgets. Especially those which uses Internet like Weather or Score.

i used this phone from last week, my battery gets... moreFound reason for fast battery drain...Once after using GPS for sometime switched off GPS and cont using mobile normally but found my mobile was hot after and it drained 30% of battery in an hour..
checked my CPU usage using superbox app it showed 100%.. stopped all the running app still usage was 100%.. then restarted the mobile then checked CPU usage it was between 30% to 10% as normal... Pls check ur CPU usage its the reason for 2hrs battery backup.. Now i dont face any problem with battery able to use one full day..

It start main camera instead of front cam.
If anybdy knws solution to it than plz let us know.
And does anybdy knows that if v can set various profile for home,work,fun etc. (where v can customize ringtones,volume etc)

Hi Friends,
I just bought the galaxy sl with super clear lcd. I am facing some major issues with playback of high definition videos in mp4 format. I am able to play the same videos in galaxy tab, galaxy s amoled version and also the Samsung wave. The default video player in my phone is not supporting the playback of high definition mp4 videos. I tried downloading at least 6-7 different video players from the android market but again facing problems. Some of the players like rockplayer and V player are able to play the same video but at a very very slow frame rate. The sound is alright but video playback is very poor with extremely slow frame rate. Its as if the video is being played in slow motion. The sound comes earlier whereas the video playback falls behind with slow framerate. The same videos are playing completely smoothly in galaxy tab and samsung wave default video player. So friends any idea how I could play hi definition videos is my galaxy s 4gb lcd version ?

hi, when use HANDWRITING to write SMS, a lot of onscreen button not work, seem full screen is just for writing,..make it difficult to go next step to send message.
Also in SMS mode, I cannnot find direct switch between English&Chinese, also not between Typing&Handwriting..... like my Nokia X6 in the past.
I need quit the SMS mode and go to setup to switch. Very trouble. Any kind comment?

Just bought this phone yesterday and am kind of getting lost..don't know how to delete some messages and i don't now where and how to download some games..a help from u guys who have been using this phone is badly needed..hope to get some answers..thank a lot.....
