I have heard that the original Galaxy S had an Gyroscope sensor as well. But the Android versions upto 2.2 did not supported it. Does Galaxy SL have similar sensor & will an upgrade to Android 2.3 (whenever available) make it working?

Does anybody have an opinion whether to go for galaxy sl or moto defy?
Defy has superior build quality and flash while galaxy sl has better screen and secondary camera.
also defy has android 2.1 while galaxy sl has 2.2
processor and graphics are same just at higher clocks in galaxy sl which can be easily compensated by overclocking.
price difference is about Rs.500-1000 more in case of galaxy.

hi the price may be 18 to 19 thousand indian rupees and it has 1ghz speed processor so can upgrade to 2.3 if samsung releases to this handset and main drawback is no camera flash for 5 mp and super lcd display not super amoled ofcourse it depends on the price of hand set

Galaxy SL is definitely a better phone then galaxy ace Rupesh far better in every possible way

Yea i Know tht fascinate is CDMA but still I think its better than The samsung sl.....im getting fascinate with the verizon carrier,imported.....It will only work with reliance or TATA....:(...

samsung galaxy sl launched in india at rs 19499
defy is bit ceaper @ rs 18000
n offers life proof (water dirt dust n shock proof)
that gives you ann edge over galaxy
bt a slower processor (800mhz as compared to 1ghz) and smaller screen (3.7" against 4.0")
defy offers no front facing camera
defy has a higher resolution than galaxy (480x854 against 480x840)
considering the screen galaxy s comes with super clear lcd :)
defy runs android 2.1 (upgradable to 2.2 sometimes later) while galaxy runs on 2.2 from the start itslf
now its up to you
coz these two are the best buy phones under 20k
