Can somebody tell me how to update this phone to 2.3 coz i never had a Samsung phone and with kies its hard to understand what to do..

I'm afraid to update my 2.3.5 to 2.3.6 because it might mess up the phone, right now aim very happy and satisfied with my 2.3.5 I noticed significant changes from froyo to GB specially the battery which gives me 3days of normal use. To those who updated their device to 2.3.6 what changes/improvements did u notice? Can u tell us pls... Thanks!

The only sure shot way is to uninstall market updates and download or update apps immediately because market auto updates in a couple of days at max. Sometimes almost immediately.

I am trying to upgrade through kies from yesterday, but unsuccessful. after downloading fw for 30 to 60 minutes, it shows some error.fortunately, my phone is still working & shows froyo orginal fw. I already wasted 300 mb of my broadband data in trying to upgrade fw. What is the alternate way to upgrade?

Damn Good phone.....
bought 2 days earlier at 17.8K...
pretty impressive device at this cost. battery life needs to be manipulated by manageing running apps... task killer may be needed... but inbuilt task manager handles well....

Try Factory Data Reset.
If it do not work, try clearing cache in the Recovery Mode.
In some cases it can also be solved by the "Market Fix" App which you can download from Android Market.
Size of this App is very small, no error will be shown while downloading.

Hi, i have upgraded to 2.3.6 DDKP4 via kies and im not able to upgrade/or download the apps and it keeps saying "error while downloading, there is insufficient space on the device" , i have tried all the options, reinstalled kies, changed date, time, etc, and im not able to reset also, please hlep
