apm, 20 Sep 2011hd videos is not working i this phone..any solutions please..My hd videos are working in my SG i9003 sl phone. Better bring your phone to samsung service center for checking and adjustment of setting. This is the fastest and safest action to do. Plus you can ask the samsung technician for clarification on the other features of this phone. Just bring your official receipt and warranty card so the service is free of charge.

past 4 months of using this galaxy sl(indian version) i had no heating or hanging problems..And my firmware version is DXKF1..User having these issues may have to update latest version..A good mobile with all features at this price..HATS OFF SAMSUNG..

i am really upset with this phone!!i don't know why Samsung released a phone like this...what a mess!!if your'e planning to buy this, i recommend you guys,better to take i9000 rather than this...

The gprs/edge of my galaxy i9003 is much slower compared to my nokia 5800. No wonder as gsl is class12 while nokia is class32.
Even though this phone has 1ghz processor it's not lightning fast as some owner would like you to believe.
And i thought low ram problem was a problem for only old nokia smartphones like n73 but no, i have to keep track of my ram. And battery is it weak point too. My galaxy sl aka galaxy sgt is not a bad phone but after owning one, i can clearly say that samsung mobile users are exaggerating. Waiting for nokia n9.

i am using samsung galaxy sl . {previosly i ve used asus m10 (win 6.5 ) it shows accurate values for gps (i.e , location,accuracy ,speed, compass , speed etc)}
but now in galaxy sl i9003 it has the gps problem it does,nt show any of them accurately.
no gingerbird update till now, will it get it or not.
( internet browser has defect in some web pages, it doesnt show exact numerical value what we have typed.)
plz kindly solve issue,s in gingerbird update

But also there is no 100% quality level in manufacturing so there is always a risk of getting a defective phone. So before you buy, make sure the phone you are buying has reliable warranty in your country. Also, international warranty for this phone sometimes is not honored on some countries. So if you buy the phone from Korea, the warranty is not valid in the Philippines and other middle east/african countries.

vins, 15 Sep 2011m a bit confused between i9000 & i9003.. have been read... more Both I9000 and i9003 Have Same Specs Except the GPU Engine. I9003 has PowerVR530 While i9000 has VR540 which is better in performance.
I9000 is Developer`s Favourite Device so There is Lot of Customization Available than i9003 Like Themes, Custom Roms, Modding etc.
Camera is Better Than i9000 and Both have NO FLash Support.
if i9000 cost u 1000 or 2000 bucks more than i9003 then i recommend u i9003
