If anyone upgraded with russian firmware I-9070XXLPY then please post his experience and how much ram is available and free on russian firmware. Everyone faces problem with indian firmware upgrade because this is not official upgrade, I confirmed it from samsung they mail me that the jellybean firmware for s advance is released yet.So beware everyone "This is fake firmware ",you will void your warrenty.And pesonelly i recommend to upgrade with russian firmware,i read lots of people review who upgraded with russian firmware and having no ram issue like this fake Indian firmware.Thanx.

Guys, I have a problem. I downloaded a game apk and data over internet on pc and transfered the same to my phone via usb cable to the external sd. In pc I can see those files on my sd card but in my phone I could see nothing. I searched the whole internal and external sd on both 'my files' folder and using 'es file explorer' but dont see anything. Please guys give some solution as I have downloaded those in internet cafe spending hundreds.
Another problem is that I have created many folders on my external sd but when connected to pc, I can see none of them.

why my device not supported firmware upgradaion, there's a msg shown... I9070 doesn't support firmware upgradaion :(

I did it but when downloading of firmware completed my phones reset and message on screen was downloading and there was green sign of android.then after 15 min kies got an error that unable to find the phone..i left my as as it is for 30 min but nothing happened then I reset my phone and working with GingerBrd

pros:
better resolution,smooth,camera zoom,improved UI,increase in available RAM space,simpler settings..
cons:
memory consumption is more..without running any progams it gives u around 200MB free RAm space while with some running processes it goes down to 40-50MB..u have to clean up regualrly..
response time is increased ...sometimes u touch the "Back" button..it takes 4-5sec to respond..
for a guy like me , who runs 2-3 programs sat the sametym..JB in SGSA is irritating sometime..bcoz of its increased response tym and memory consumption..else its amazing..

But Now I am in india. Can I update the indian Jellybean version through kies(not using ODIN)
Or
Do I need to wait for the UAE Jelly bean Update??

please share how to update to jeallybean.as i connected my s advance with kies it asked to update firmware after downloading firmware my phone restart and downloain messae appear with android loin and after some time error on kies screen that could not recogonise phone please disconnect and connect againg ..i did it 2 time but unable to upgrade ti jelleybean.

JB sucks big time. my phone looks like a china kids phone now. lags so much. 83% of ram always utilized. cant play games (lags big time). GB is way far better than JB.
