Hi Firend, I hope your problem is solved. In case if you haven't, let me try to help:
It seems that you flashed rom with wrong PIT file (i.e. 8GB PIT file instead of 16GB)! No problem, just download the PIT file for 16GB variant and then flash it via odin. You can follow the xda link below to know more:

Have special use check if i mist something but no update.

sgsa 16gb phone downgraded.
I cant get 16gb now.insted i get only 8gb

i am using this phone since 13months. its a very good hardware, but the problem is support by Samsung is worst. many are saying this phone works with 2.3 but its out dated(some recent apps wont support 2.3) jellybean update is worst, but Samsung launched bug fixed version of jb which is good and smooth enough with good battery backup(but problem is poor ram management), but is not aired in India but still u can download other country firmware and update by Odin3.09. waited with big hope for official kitkat update, but samsung didnt even update a phone like s3. Xda developers are doing better job than samsung developers, i searched in google and finally installed CM11 kitkat 4.4.4 rom(best custom rom). Now i am enjoying the best potential of this wonderful hardware

Guys who are facing lag hanging problem flash liquid smooth 3.2 4.4.4 this rom is awesome rom with all advanced features and its lightweight just 168 mb. This rom is complied by GCC 4.8 sabermod means no lag with faster user interface go here

It's a great phone. But not with the official ROM.
With the Kitkat ROM from Novafusion.pl, it works marvellous. But I'm still encountering some problem like insufficient space for when flashing a GAPPS.
Overall, I would give it a 9/10 for the pricing, design ＆ feature.

Really i am suffering a lot with this Samsung Galaxy S advance. Many times it is hanging. Very slow mobile. Even i not installed any apps or games also it is very slow. very very slow mobile and it hangs frequently. 13250 i spent for this mobile. If i see Micromax, Lava those mobiles are really super. For name only Samsung. Really waste.
