1)Download this zip file at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2140597
Choose CoCore-E-5.0 CWM.zip
2) extract the file and you will get kernel.bin.md5
3) copy kernel.bin.md5 into your sdcard (not external sdcard)
4) now go to playstore and download terminal emulator
5) after finishing download, open terminal emulator and write this:
su
dd if=/sdcard/kernel.bin.md5 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15
reboot
6) your phone now will be reboot. then, go to settings> about device> kernel version
Flashing Project G-ROM
1) Download this zip file at
http://d-h.st/LTa
2) Switch off your phone
3) Go into CWM recovery by pressing and holding vol. up + home + power
3) make full wipe first
-wipe factory data reset
-wipe cache partition
-wipe dalvik cache (advanced> wipe dalvik cache)
4) select install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sd card and then select the zip file that you have downloaded
5) select yes and then follow next instructions
6) after finish, your phone will automatically reboot and you have to wait up to 10 minutes before your phone will start..just be a little bit more patient
7) Done! enjoy your lags free jelly bean!
p/s: Do this at your own risk. I'm not responsible if you might brick your phone. Read the steps one by one and follow them carefully and there is nothing you have to be afraid of.

i wrote this based on my opinions using this samsung galaxy s advance.
About my device:
-Android version: 4.1.2
-Baseband version: i9070XXLQ4
-Kernel version: CoCore-E-5.0
-Build number: Project-G_ROM
This phone is totally amazing for its mid range category and its price. I haven't got any issue since using jelly bean on this phone..playing games like temple run, temple run 2, subway surfers is no longer lags. im so happy using this phone now..for those who coward to flash to jelly bean, i feel so sorry to you...just flash and all of your problems will settle!
i you keep waiting for samsung to give you official jelly bean update, i think it's just wasting your time..maybe you have to wait for another 2 months i guess :)

flash to jelly bean via odin is so easy! trust me!
it's just like "kacé butir" "kace hijau" and etc!
using jelly bean
*pros - ram increase to 629 mb
- camera support digital zoom
- better benchmark score
- buttery smooth
- Google now
- beautiful touchwiz nature ux ui
- no more lags when playing any games
- everything pleased your eyes
*cons - you are gonna use your phone non-stop
p/s: i think it's such a great idea by sending mails to samsung in order to persuade samsung to give jelly bean update.. and i also think that samsung had already know and trully understand about your wish to taste jelly bean on this smartphone...maybe samsung had already worked hard in order to give you all jelly bean update as soon as possible..just be a little bit more patient..
OR just flash via odin!

linda, 23 Mar 2013It wast too laggy but i wasnt able to download apps from pl... moreyeah i know it was laggy compared to xxlq4 but i fixed the problem people who are on XDA, and phones rooted u can install a custom kernel and all lags finished everything fixed :D

DEvelopers know everything... dont go and waste money in shops when u can ask for online help!

Please all the people who wana buy this device, buy it go ahead this device is one of a kind no issues anything, Next people saying this device is bad and not getting it please this device has got updates to Jellybean if u cant wait then dont brag on websites, secondly i am a developer of this device on XDA-developers and have been developing on this device till now and this device is just amazing... XXLQB np go ahead and install no issues anything the people who have installed xxlqb didnt install it properly thats why getting issues :D go ahead buy this device and enjoy and people wanting to buy it do buy it and the people who wana get updated to Jellybean safely and enjoy all the jellybean goodness with awsome custom roms and everything come over to XDA i'll help them out :D
PS: Jellybean XXLPY, XXLPZ, XXLQ4 and XXLQB all our available for use worldwide no sim gsm restrictions okay i'll give tutorials on how to install even but please don't spread hatred among this device nor samsung okay Jellybean is there u just need people to guide you and help you :D
