For those with signal problems. go to wireless and network, mobile network and change from GSM/CDMA(automatic) to GSM only. The signal drops when is poor and your phone changes this setting automaticaly to gsm. After i changed this setting I never had any problems. Good day. try it

Dear Concern,
I have purchased a Samsung Galaxy S Advance from Saudi Arabia (Riyadh) in September 2012.
But From the very 1st week of use I got Terrible experience on it. My voice is completely distorted on each call. Other party could not hear clearly and full distortion of voice happened. I have checked by hearing voice from my call as other party and it really happens. I am very much anxious and frustrated regarding this. Today i did factory reset but result same. Is it (Voice distortion/Noise) a Model Problem or, only my handset?
Please suggest me what to do?

.DDL4 - Intermitent network / GPRS dropping issue.
.DDL41 - resolved the earlier issue, but the device had scrolling issue and had become very much rugged.
.DDLJ1 - made the device smooth again, smoother scrolling, browsing, transition.
.DDLK2 - Phone has become much much smoother, responsive, no lags at all....no hang issues...no network problem...AND THE MAIN THING...NO HEATING ISSUES..DURING GAME PLAY, BROWSING.....

old sim ..5yrs...and 2g network so when i put in gsm/cdma dual auto mode this problem occurs...if i put in gsm only mode phone is fine no network issue but cannot use 3g becos 3g works only in gsm/cdma auto mode....i did lot of research and finally got solution...i changed my old sim and got a new duplicate sim for my old sim ...now 3g network with gsm/cdma auto mode works superb...no network issues is inspite of this if u get that issue ,change to gsm only mode deactivate 3g ,use only 2g with gsm only mode...after u select any mode make sure u switch off n on ur phone....also c my previous posts...old sim ..5yrs...and 2g network so when i put in gsm/cdma dual auto mode this problem occurs...if i put in gsm only mode phone is fine no network issue but cannot use 3g becos 3g works only in gsm/cdma auto mode....i did lot of research and finally got solution...i changed my old sim and got a new duplicate sim for my old sim ...now 3g network with gsm/cdma auto mode works superb...no network issues is inspite of this if u get that issue ,change to gsm only mode deactivate 3g ,use only 2g with gsm only mode...after u select any mode make sure u switch off n on ur phone....also c my previous posts...

go to (Settings > Wireless and Network > Mobile Networks > Network mode) and then set it to "GSM only".

priyesh, 23 Feb 2013My s advance is lagging while plyng games like temple run,s... moreIts a minor issue, whenever you face laggs, just press the lock key and then unlock. Your problem is solved. Isnt it simple.. Galaxy s advance rocks....!!

Which one to go for?Nokia Lumia 620 or Samsung galaxy s advance?And is it facing any network drop problems or is it possible to fix it by the jelly bean update? Guys do reply me soon...plss help me out..:-)
