vish, 26 Jan 2013i bought s advance 3 months back...initially had problems w... moreu can try rooting ur phone and modifying the build.prop for more smooth experience. but its risky, if u mess up tht file u ll brick ur phone.

AnonD-71834, 27 Jan 2013scince russian jb realesed someone saying flashin via odin ... morewhich model do u have? the 8gb one or the 16gb one?
if u had 11gb on gb, and 4gb on jb, then u have repartioned ur device with wrong pit file, while flashing jb thru odin. jb doesnt decrease ur internal storage. only for s2 the internal storage is reduced by 1gb.

prakhar, 27 Jan 2013flashing ur s advance voids the warranty of the phone and b... moreand btw the rsn samsung hasnt released jb worldwide is bcoz each country develops the software for tht particular country. u saw wat happ wid the russian jb, it was filled wid lots of bugs, and the new update hardly has many new features.. and samsung will mostly release jb for other countries by march

samsung themselves test their softwares by flashing binaries in similiar matter. even the download mode is known as odin mode. flashing any original stock rom through odin is perfectly legit. it doesnt void ur warranty. flashing other countries firmware doesnt keep ur warranty either. but nothing goes wrong with odin when u follow the instructions. Max u get a soft brick. but then they cant prove u installed jb, bcoz the binary counter never went up. and samsung doesnt check tht v well too..
so next time onwards do little research b4 trying to post false stuff.

flashing ur s advance voids the warranty of the phone and by releasing jb only for russia, people are tempted to flash their phones and njoy jb .however by not releasing jb worldwide samsung wants people to flash their phone and void their warranty as they are planning to stop the production of this model.

@Samsung flashing with jb nt void u r warranty and flashing with Odin is nt very technical its simple bt u hv to follow all steps acurrately so there will nt any problem

why the video recorded through this phone is not really smooth and also shaking. anyone have the same issue? the video recorded from my fren's galaxy ace 2 is much better than this...

scince russian jb realesed someone saying flashin via odin will nt hrm ur phone...do i know with oly 4 gb intrnal storage hw can v play hd games wid hvy data..lika asphalt 7. assasian creed..amazin spider oly 3 gmes consist mre dan 4 gbs of data..so wts d reson updtin to jb..gb atleast givin us 11 gb of i spce...doh m noob n runing on still stock gb...watin fr realisin jb for india..i want to ask u guys did u guys can keep lots of hd games install in ur device wid 11 or 4 gb space..like m getin space prob to keep hd gmes..doh i moved my sd data to ext sd...n for playing data or gameloft folder...plz help...asap.... :-(

sorin, 26 Jan 2013can anyone tell me why my phone Galaxy S Advance have only ... moreit's normal. The rest of ram is used by android. For example if u have 512mb of it will show ~278. Internal memory: 2gb are for apps and 4 gb for pictures, videos music etc. The rest is again used for android data and probably it has less than 8gb.

i bought s advance 3 months back...initially had problems with connection with network ..had to switch it off nd then switch it on to get signals ...but after sum tym., never came across any such complaints;-) but i had a continous problm of game lag on my phone when playin games lik ..subway surfers nd temple run 2 ...:-( its nt making me feel better ...plz can any one help me hw i can correct this issue with my phone .??!!..thanx in advance:-):-)

Out of total physical RAM some memory is reserved at boot time for Camera and other peripherals. So it shows lesser RAM memory.

@ Sorin,the 768MB run is true,bt the system wudnt giv u all,it has to use some.Also abt the 8GB internal memory,it has been divided into three sessions.The operating system uses 2GB,Then 2GB for storage of applications and u are left with 4GB to store your own data.Hope u ar ok now.U hav made de right choice.This phone is best.
