So the wait is over now after so much speculations and rumors a pleasant surprise in the form of jelly bean 4.1.2 update for our beloved and deserving s advance has arrived.Changes are as follows:
1-all new refreshing UI with new task manager,widgets,etc.
2-camera with 4x zoom in both video and image capture plus scene modes etc
3-updated video player with pop up video plus all new music player
4-new drop down notification bar with added quick toggles and clock widget
5-buttery smooth operation with no lags
6-google now is awesome
7-increase total ram in task manager to 625mb from 555mb.
8-quick access widgets on lock screen in swipe mode
phone feels great and in new life now overall ex[experience is best in class and update has brought support for all new apps like google chrome nova launcher etc

Hi Sarabjit and others who have already upgraded to 4.1.2, could you please tell me
1. Whether the phone can still be connected to PC in mass storage mode. I am asking this because my friend's Note 2 running on JB does not have this option.
2. Whether apps can be moved to ext sd card from the "manage applications" section in Settings like we can do in Gingerbread? This option, apparently, is not there in my friend's Note2, again.
3. And lastly, if you dont mind, could you give us your first impressions on the JB update in some detail? You see, I am a little apprehensive, for my SGSA runs absolutely flawlessly now, and I cannot make up my mind whether I really need to update!
I am from Calcutta, India.

I have updated with Russian firmware. Everything works like an charm. Camera finally got zoom (by volume keys), wifi, 3g,bluethoot works well. Must be update with Odin.

yes, i updated my s advance to jelly bean ( in india ).
its nature UI is awesome worth it.
even zooming is available now.
