I have read a lot on the internet about people experience after firmware upgrade to I9070XXLK2. All noticed the same big disadvantages
Scrolling in applications, internet browser, settings and even in homescreen is unresponsive, laggy and slow.
Do not seem that this is midrange device with dual core processor...
Shame on Samsung... Smartphone worked perfectly until this update...
I Will try to do the downgrade and will never trust samsung firmware updates.
I suggest for everyone to wait for Jelly Bean and do not bother with this failed update.

Hi all. I've been using my new Samsung galaxy Advance for two weeks now, and so far no hiccups whatsoever. I used to be a Nokia and LG user and I am not dissapointed with this new handset. Only waiting for the JB update due in January 2013. Do not despair.

Can you tell me the Baseband version of your device after the update.
Till date there are three updates rolled out for our device.
When I got the device it was packed with the baseband version DDL4.
.DDL4 - Intermitent network / GPRS dropping issue.
.DDL41 - resolved the earlier issue, but the device had scrolling issue and had become very much rugged.
.DDLJ1 - made the device smooth again, smoother scrolling, browsing, transition.
.DDLK2 - Phone has become much much smoother, responsive, no lags at all....no hang issues...no network problem...AND THE MAIN THING...NO HEATING ISSUES..DURING GAME PLAY, BROWSING.....

I am from India and planning to order this in US...some friend is bringing for me...is there any prob in this...as in if I face some issue will service centers help me...also we dont know if its going to be launched in India..as ACe2 never came...so will tht be a prob...appreciate quick response....

unfortunately this is not the major problem , the bigger problem is up and down scrolling lag, every secong scroll tap is not working, i regreted because i installed this update

the phone does'nt work properly while using spb shell 3d...
it hangs very much & "force close" msg displays again & again..........

I bought this device 5 days ago.
I was very happy with performance and speed of this device. However after update today, Multiple homescreen windows sliding is not as smooth at it was before.
Wireless and internet browsing performance is also degraded...
Does anyone also is having the same issues after update?

Is any body facing the same issue after the latest update to DDLK2..
Unable to open numpad while on some call also people are unable to call me they say my number is switched off where as its not the case...can any one please help...
