I've been using this phone at about 1 year and 2 months. This phone actually not bad at all. This is the details of my Samsung Galaxy S Advance :

its hard to do Multitasking with this android phone
i can only use this single tasking but still cause overheat and overconsumption of battery power and Ram memory
battery performance is terribly unreliable
some good things bout this phone is download and upload speed is fast and smooth (depend on network provider? ),
......but the high performance quality is not stable and reliable as expected from the world famous brand like this because the annoying laggy and hang,freeze problems
WHAT'S WRONG with samsung experts they should make products faaaar better in performance quality than like this

Good phone probably it would become best in its price group if suplied with kit kat android version.

has anyone contacted samsung regarding kit kat update for s advance? what was samsung's reply? those Samsung idiots don't know that jb is unstable for this phone, can someone call Samsung CEO and ask him to provide us with a stable version of kit kat, jb update is uselss, makes phone too laggy, thanks in advance

Then go to the phone and change the notification tone in the Settings and voila you have the new ringtone.

If your phone hangs or freezes most of the time, you can solve this by factory resetting your phone then go to settings> Application manager> All apps. choose some of the in-built apps that eats up your memory and disable them. NB: Do a Google search on which apps are safe to freeze/disable without affecting the performance of your device. Remember, this procedure does not require any ROOTING which may void your warranty. You should back up your Apps and data before factory reset. DO NOT overload your phone with apps. Install only the Apps you frequently use. Putting Apps on External memory may also cause some instability issues and increase response time which may make your device to freeze with "App not Responding" Error. Also remember to clean up memory regularly and close down apps running in the background which you may not be using. You can do this using Task manager which is accessible by long-pressing home key.
