i bought this phone about 6month ago...sometime will lag on temple run sometime run smooth...got anyone know about this?

how to download youtube video in SGSA...which is best app to download video ....like youtube downloader in NOKIA ...i miss my NOkia 701 for fast video download.

A single core Mali400 GPU is very much adequate to play 3D games...like temple run...etc but HD games like asphalt7 utilise more RAM (1GB n above) and there by need a more powerful GPU....according to me phones that are capable of playback and recording 1080p videos are more suitable of playing high definition games....neways I am not a game freak...but let me tell you after the OTA update..the scrolling in my phone is not smooth as it used to be...
I am sceptical about the JB update....for me even ICS would do...let SAMSUNG take a call on this...

advanced in all aspects but why not its browser simply html not html 5 should have gone for 1gb of ram and higher screen resolution for multitasking and superior gaming experience.overall superb design

1. Galaxy S Advance
... morehere is my take on mid range dual core android phones
ie under 20000rs the phones available are
1>LG optimus 2X (2X)
2>Samsung Galaxy S Advance(SGA)
3>Sony Xperia Sola
4>HTC Desire X
According to the release date
1>lg 2X has dual core nvedia tegra 2 processor
since this phone was a flagship device in its heyday it comes with more bells & whistles (like HDMI port,8mp camera,1080p recording & playback) when compared to rest of the competition even though the processor is old it trashes samsung galaxy s2 in 3d graphics & gaming benchmarks according to samrtbench 2011games, it even has ips lcd which is found in high end phones like htc onex ,one x+,optimus 4X etc
this phone is a gamer's phone affordable the only draw back is its battery life
2> SGA is a good phone well built its performance is similar to that of 2X but looses out in gaming
department for normal casual usage this phone is no different than galaxy s2 the main draw back is its camera it has no zooming option otherwise it's a good phone
3>sony Xperia sola even this phone's performance is similar to SGA it has the same processor & chip set of SGA the main draw back is its subparr battery performance , no secondary camera & has ordinary s lcd display which is not bright or colorful enough
4>HTC desire x it is the new phone & the most expensive ofem all it is very well built houses a new
snapdragon s4 processor
But it lacks many features no secondary camera.No hd video recording this is because of old chipset & old gpu. even this phone has ordinary s lcd display & has the least performance ofem all
so if i want to select from these phones i would select SGA or 2X (mainly SGA it has better battery)

1) 2GB ROM means 1.97 of space which is user ac... morei don't think so guys. ROM is read only memory, and read only means that we may view or read its content but we can't modified it (add or remove, except via recovery mode)
mine is 8gb version and here is detailed memory:
- 4gb (3,9gb usable) called sd card memory, which you may use it to store common data like musics, videos, pictures or any other files including sd data when we install any hd games
- 2gb (1,91gb usable) called internal memory, which you can only use this to install apk files (games and application installer)
- 2gb (mine shows only 631mb usable via titanium backup) called ROM, which can only be used to install the OS, including build in / default application like messaging, contact, camera, browser for example
normally we can only install any application to the 2nd memory i mentioned. we can, yes we can install any application to ROM, but we must do it through recovery mode and the applications we will install are not apk, but zip.
to prove whether my statements are right or not, use any file manager to see them.
