i used the following method to update...
for installing update you just have to connect to internet using 3g/2g/WiFi (preferably 3g of WiFi for high speed download) and click on search for updates and it will automatically update
ps: The update file size is 6 mb
pps: i have one question for you .How is your camera quality?? my camera quality is very disappointing

I bought this phone 2weeks back, its jus awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee......at first i got network issue i went and change the network setting as GSM only and issue ressolved, im enjoying alot with my s advance.. can suggest others to buy this..

bt yes there are other issues like as u said batery life...and network issues tooo....otherwise its the most lovable baby :)

im ajitha.....i got this phone a month back and facing a serious network issues with it......the network gets disconected itself....and if try to select it normally...its nt bein registered......plzzz help me fix it

Also my touch sensitivity is little low compared with other smart phones.. Is there any way to increase it..

I got my phone on August 12, 2012.. I am facing some problems with camera.. When i open he camera Unknown error by ErrorCallback exception and getting close. ANd sometimes i m getting camera failed error.. Does any1 have this same issue and is there any solution to resolve this.. Please suggest some idea.. I restarted phone.. But no use..

AnonD-63234, 07 Oct 2012i recommend s2 because of expendable memory and a powerfull... moreBothe S2 and SA support memory card and they have the same GPU Mali-400MP make a comparison between them on GSMArena and see, the difference between them is in the screen S2 bigger , S2 1gb ram 16gb/32gb while SA 768mb ram and 8/16GB version and also the camera in S2 it is 8mp while in SA it is 5mp :D

i am going to buy this phone i want to ask something is the 6mb update international or for india only
and i can answer some questions :
1- the mobile will be updated to jelly bean directly but there is no exact date confirmed by samsung
2- it doesnot have cornring glass but its scratch resistant ( have alook on the key features in the review of GSMArena
