I think its a software issue in all Galaxy phones...if you keep network mode as Dual(GSM+WCDMA) the phone will occasionally go out of coverage even when network strength is full !! The easiest solution is keeping phone on 'GSM Only' setting...anyway we don't get lightening fast 3G here in India

Absolutely brilliant phone. Great Performance, no lags, nice camera, AMAZING voice clarity, great design, perfectly priced, a-little-less-than-satisfactory battery life.
YET, and this is confirmed from Samsung employees reporting directly to CEO - Customer Satisfaction, Samsung India, the S Advance handsets have a network problem that even Samsung is unable to diagnose. The phone will work perfectly fine till the first time you lose network connectivity for whatever reason - it may flight mode, an area with no connectivity, going underground, manually searching for networks, or ANYTHING. But once you've lost network once, you never get it back. You'll be too lucky if you're able to connect to a network without restarting your phone or removing the battery. The network goes every half and hour or so and you need to constantly keep checking your phone to make sure you're connected. Shameful fault that is currently being experienced mostly in India itself. Maybe some hardware protocol issue designed for other countries.
I bought it on 29 July, 2012 and started experiencing problems since 31st. Returned the phone to Samsung and claimed a full refund yesterday. If only this one problem in the MOST basic and MOST important function of a mobile phone wasn't there, this would've been one hell of an AWESOME phone at a great price with amazing specs and performance.
But then the sharp price drop within two months of launch is BECAUSE there is a problem that Samsung can't yet fix but they still need sales.

in camera of advance, does it need when ul take pics to have a steady hand,i have a 5mp autofocus cam but it will get blurry if i wont focus the cam

Guys trust me, best spec sheet, trashiest performance. 1. Everytime u hear someone talk on the phone to you, the back cover virates.
2. Everytime u make a call and end a call irritating ding-ding sound.
3. Massive network issues
4. BIGGEST WASTE OF MONEY (Although excellent and courtious samsung service). Just poor thinking on the engineers part.

here is my review
The phone is better than Galaxy S II in terms of design.
Display --->Spectacular in terms of vibrant colors but AMOLED PLUS would have been better.
Camera---->Upto the mark in the 5 MP category
Sound Quality----.Best in Class
Perfomance---.No worries here.the 1Ghz Dual core is just amazibg
Network---.I havent faced any network issues so far...
Price---->Bought it for Rs.19000 in india.. Great value for money....

f dr was onethng i am thnkng wd asyd frm da great purchase i had wd ace2,is dat i cud hav had da amold gudnes of advnce.bt nvertheless, mybe nxt tym, mybe galaxy s2 advnce quadcore

The model is very nice and smooth.... And believe me it is really smooth..... I do all kinds of experiments with my phone, its spectacular with games, performance, anything else țhat u hoped for to get in a smart phone... Camera zooming wouldn't bother u much... Go for gsm only telecom operators if u really r annoyed by the network going off...... Even though i din face it.... M using reliance... Sleek and light in hand, s2 seemed a lil big so i din buy it.... But direct wifi (bigger blue tooth) , etc are all packed in this model.... Go for it.... The price has come to a reasonable level.......

Camera performance in real life is bad. Compared to my previous Nokia C6
- Low dynamic range
- Poor low light - chooses low shutter speed even with ISO400
- Washed out when have high intense light in scene
