I never have an issue with my i9070 Advance. No network problem, it lags at time when GPS is on and im browsing the web but other than that, its as smooth as my SII. i'm using my advance as work companion phone since its smaller at 4 inch screen makes it easier on my lab coat. No negative issues, its working great, altho they could have a zoom on the camera. other than that, its awesome !!!

felix, 07 Aug 2012i got the same problem as sparky said.. i turn off my phone... moreEven I have the same problem. This is definitely not b'cos of wrong calculation.There is some setting or configuration that needs to be looked into. Any help in this regard is appreciated.....

I think even this one will be vanish like Galaxy R & never get ICS update.So be careful.

The price is reduced to under Rs 20000 due to it's faulty network problem.I think samsung have to sell their faulty mobile lot as early as possible.How many of you really facing network issue???Does it really worth buy at 19500 Rs?Please reply???

All Samsung S Advance suffered from a serious problem...The network problem..
To Test : Just Dial any number to anyone (Doesn't matter it got connected or not) and now disconnect it...now see your phone network signals....after 4 or 5 seconds they all are gone.....and they get restored after 2-3 seconds too......Similar behavior for incoming calls too.....Please check...

This phone is having a manufacturing fault. This phone loses network connectivity for 3-4 seconds when you are done with your incoming/outgoing call. I have checked this defect on almost 5 phones. All these phones (of this model) are suffering from this problem.
To Test This: Dial any number (whether it's got connected to other party or not, it doesn't matter), now check for your network signal......after 3-4 seconds all signals are gone for some seconds and then they restored automatically......please check and confirm.....

Now the price lay down to 19500 INR, So SG S Adv is the best mid range phone which contains many features..

Hello friends,
I'm planning to buy samsung galaxy s advance. Can anyone explain me as to how do we connect this phone to access internet via laptop through samsung kies or any other software pc suite which is required. As ive seen nokia pc suite which provides you with an option to connect directly to the internet, but same is not the case with samsung or other android devices. Since this would be my first experience i would appreciate the reply from my friends who comment regarding any problems if anyones facing. Pls let me know how to connect the phone to internet & what setting changes needs to be done & use the phone as a modem.

I am facing a peculiar issue. while opening any contact, a screen is flashed for half a second stating "there is no additional information available for this contact" then the contact is displayed. anybody facing the issue?

Does anybody has an experience with lag when opening messages? Hmmm even just be ticking the messages icon. A noticeable lag of 1sec. Thanks for the feedback. I got this fone just 5 days ago.
