I purchased it two weeks ago. I got following experience:
Advantage:
1. Processing speed is awesome, excellence multitasking with good performance. No laggs when switch to applications.
2. Internet speed is great, no laggs while pinching and zooming. Effectively open web pages.
3. Gaming performance is good.
4. Best experience while watching HD videos as 4 inch screen.
5. Best mobile comparatively, HTC One V, Sony Xperia Neo V, Galaxy R, Xperia Sola, Galaxy S Plus.
Disadvantage:
1. No default zooming option in Camera, have to download application such as Sleek Camera for it..
2. No ICS update till now.
3. As 1500 mAh battery, battery back up is quiet well will cover whole a 1 day as per whole use of mobile(Calling, Surfing, Gaming)
Overall i rate it 8/10. But i concluded its such fast phone as per 22k budget and satisfied :)

i purchase it last week.but iphone is far better in touch.clarity of s advance is better but mac is still the best

Hi SGSA Users, No Need to worry about zooming functionality of Camera, There is an app called "Sleek Camara" pls find it on play store and install it, you will get upto 5X optical Zoom.

ignore if u already know this app.
after installing this app u will come to know that no use of having optical zoom in camera for sure...
After having this fecilty this phone would be the complete one... no need to compare it with other phones.

which is better optimus 2x... moreIf I were you I would get the Advance. I've heard before that the LG 2X has a lot of issues like random rebooting and doesn't really have a decent battery life.
With regards of lack of zooming feature on Advance's camera...I mean, c'mon people. This phone wasn't touted to be a camphone. Even hi-end phone such as SIII may not give you a great result with photo quality once you zoomed-in. When I bought this phone, I wasn't even thinking about it's cam capability thinking it only has 5 megapixel. If my concern was first and foremost was the camera, I should have gotten the SII or SIII or even maybe the Nokia PureView. The Advance was a great mid-tier Android phone. It performs well with day to day usage.

SGSA will never get the ICS update oficially. But you can update it yourself.
This phone also doesn't have zoom option. There's no optical zoom in every phone, there's only software zoom. So you can zoom your picture later. It's the same.
Some people compare this phone with xperia p. This two phones are not on the same price (xperia p is more expensive). So if the xperia p is better, there's no wonder.

On regarding the charging this phone is giving better.
We are not from the forest and we are not that much poor for paying electricity bill. One should have sense to comment on phone charging and electricity bill. Lol
If the phone gets battery down by 4-5 hrs of heavy usage how can we tolerate it ? We cant waste our on charging with that bledy phones. All xperia series comes under this series. Lol phones. Except this drawback the sony mobs are good but we cant ignore or excempt this while buying some worthy phone.
Regarding s adv i can give the answer. For camera zoom we can fxzoom camera app for zooming. So no need to bother in this case. Im using this phone for past 10 days. No issues and pretty useful and fast and worthy if its is 21.5 or 22k rs. Any ways in some areas ppl are buying for 22k, i bought it for 23k with insurance, blutooth, some gifts as local store offer in chennai. I love this phone. I has every thing even wifi direct .... Superb speed data transfer via wifi direct. Gr8 phone of the year.

This device cost 21500 in Delhi,So this device is much far good as compare with price.ICS for this device is for sure as it have the same specs if we compare this device with other devices which getting the ICS.

Yes I agree this GALAXY Advance is not a advance phone it does not have the Camera Zoom option even with any other App it is not good. paying 23k for a camera without is not worth

Id rather get an s2. screen is quite small and do not response as fast as s2 and price list is not way too far just an opinion
