[deleted post]Hey i guess it should be priced at about 22k or 23k INR !! just somewhere between samsung galaxy s plus and s2 !! but sometimes samsung gets very weird in its pricing and sometimes overprices itz products so dont be surprised if it is launched somwhere abt 25k in d market !! wait for a month or two and d prices will fall to 21 to 22 k i guess !!

by putting the 3.5 m.m. jack on the bottom side of phone , Samsung has unnecessarily put up a stop to a likely, intending buyer like me to give a rethink.
Why Samsung has ruined this phone ,with excellent specification , by this small mistake.

does this phone have native video calling like galaxy s1/ s2? (not thru skype or 3rd party applications)?

although the galaxy R ram is 1GB, about 200+mb ram is reserved for the android usage. meaning that the galaxy r ram is about the same as galaxy s advance. keep in mind that the battery capacity is only 1500mAh to support dual core processor. i doubt that the phone will even reach one-day under normal usage.

However the ram on galaxy r is 1gb whereas dat on s advance is 768 mb which is slighly lower but equally efficient ! still no word on the gpu of s andvance whereas galaxy r has tegra 2 grahics ! the expected price in india could be around 22k to 23k looking at the specs but if u hav d patience to wait for a month or 2 it will drop to 21k !!another gud phone in d range would be the samsung galaxy s plus which is available just in ur budget of 20k though it is abit less powerful danboth the above mentioned devices !!! all the tree are xpected to get the 4.0 ics update !!! recently heard dat the galaxy r is out of stock in mumbai markets which is a signal dat the s advance is coming soon to the markets caus samsung cant hav 2 phones with the same specs at the same time !! itz still not launched internationally bt has featured at WMC 2012 and is xpected to launch internationally in a few day ! xpect it in india by april or may !!! even i am waiting eagerly for itz launch !!!

guys any idea as to when will this phone be available in india and what will be its price? i am looking to buy a phone by march and i am really confused. my range is around 20k. please help!
