SGS II cannot be compared to nokia, iphone, sonyericcson, mototrolla,lg,htc phones

because it is simply the best and most powerfull phone ever made and the one with the highest specification of them all ....
and anyone who thinks otherwise would be better for him to see the reviews and specifications for SGS II before comparing him to the nokia oro or lg optimus 2x or the iphone 4 or any other phone

as for the nokia oro his specifications are very low in comparison to the current android phones in the market ...
symbian cannot compete against android or apple os which are best os for mobiles in the market and it cannot compete also with their applications and how fast they work ..... symbian time is about to end sooon

SGS II THE BEST ... SAMSUNG RULES !

[deleted post]LOL ...... UR the only 1 and will be the only one who can say that a brand which will be demolished by samsung (infact demolishment is in superb process) . has got a phone like ORO which is better than OUR SUPERB SEXY SMART FAST VIVID & The best uptill DATE SGS-2.
are you nuts ? or were u on some ....
wen u wrote this post ...
            go check out..
SGS-2 is the best and will kill a number of upcoming and phones which are currently in the market within a matter of month of its official release .PEOPLE are going crazy around.
            Read facts then post .
3 million units were pre -ordered wen it first hit the KOREAN website. within 62 minutes.
ORO would def. take 62 YEARS to reach this figure.

The latest firmwaee updare did not seem to make battery life better. On the contrary in my opinion it drains even faster.

Some people have commented that it should be upgraded, specifically to KE7, so there won't be any problems. How's the phone without upgrading it, any problems with the phone? Does it really need to be upgraded?

But I have seen an application on samsung apps made especially for the camera.

Don't unzip it and use it as is with ODIN.
Click PDA and search the .tar file, that's all.

Love this phone since last week. The camera (both photo n video), the weight, the customizeable home screen (inc. the themes from market), the CPU, and ofcourse the OS Gingerbread. So worth waiting for 4 months. Now i take a good care of it by using it with screen protector and a phone body protector.
But i found it's a little bit lagging, when i use the original homescreen, to move from page to page. Then i download GO Launcher EX, problem solved. Or anyone can suggest the same problem? Also the services always run on background, which consume batt easily. I don't use the so called, task killer, because i don't want to ruin the OS (or maybe i don't really understand how to use it..). Anyway, i enjoy it all the time.

You can update right now through ODIN, The firmware is available on samfirmware.com.
Choose open Europe firmware and you're ready to go.

1-Put your phone in download mode
2-Open odin and click PDA, then choose the .tar file that you've already downloaded from samfirmware
3-Ckeck Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time (nothing else)
                                      4-Click Start
5-Wait until ODIN finishes, you will get "PASS"
in 3-4 minutes you're with the latest unbranded firmware.

                                      Easy no?
