Tried to update via kies but it came up with the message " i9100 administrator was denied" any one know how to get round this. thanks

So it has HDMI output for TV via an adaptor which needs a charger. But if the TV does not have HDMI connector, can i use the standard cable (1jack and 3 RCA)in the output jack of the phone ? Or what must i do ?

Settings,,,wireless and network,,,scroll to mobile networks its the last option,,,network mode,,,select your choice.

Smat, 13 May 2011Ok glad I read ur post, did what you recommended, and it up... moreNot easy for the average person on the street to do, i struggled a bit but got there in the end.Mine was branded so thought i would not get update but all come good in the end.I watched kies unpacking itself and their were 100s dynamic link libraries it shows how much technical complex software is in todays smartfones.
Darky92 is getting one shortly god knows what he will do to this beast.I have got all the files downloaded to push it to 1.5GHz but awiting a few more folk to try it to iron out any little setbacks like tonights setbacks updating software.

Hi guys, Just a quick question. How do i switch to 3g on this phone? At the moment when I use the internet it is running on edge but I can't find how to switch to 3g in the settings.
I had a samsung wave before this and you could switch between 3g and edge in the settings.
Any help would be appreciated.

Uninstalled Kies and reinstalled, will try again later hopefully no issues this time!

Got My S2 Today.It's really cool.big and fast.sharp and nice.
just to bad tings:1.MHL Cable Wasn't incl.
and phone can't show Persian so we have to insstall lastest firefox and when u using firefox u canæt play flashplayers video :(
but it doesn't matter at all :D :D

Nearly 2hrs to update,first had to re-install kies,then had trouble again.So started googling and suggestions were made to run kies in administrator mode ,,still trouble with dll files ..Rebooted fone taking out battery,,then it would not update without doing back up,,did back up now kies would not recognise device,,rebboted laptop and fone ,,,yes drivers installed successfully and it updated in about 20 mins.Phew...
Wifi signal has gone up by one bar and will see tomorrow if other brightness fault is fixed,it should be.Ive had enough for now.
I was on the fone to o2 ready for return before person on here told me to look at gsmarenas sgs2 update news on software update to fix the bug..Very near miss indeed.I felt really down but now back up on top ......:-)
