Root your phone and download triangle away, then run it and the counter of counts should be back to 0 and you shouldn't have the caution symbol when you boot it up.

After updating the Samsung Galaxy S II to 4.1.2 JellyBean, I experience heating problems. The phone heats up never before. I think, this is the common problem with Samsung Galaxy S II after reading many forums, and it says that it is the modem of the phone, isn't it? Well, I've downgraded to 2.3 GingerBread, waiting for thr 4.2.2 JellyBean update. Hope that everything will be fine. Looking forward to 5.0 Key Lime Pie for Samsung Galaxy S Series.

im using galaxy s2 its good phone but when i use facebook i cant see tamil font i thing its not support to my phone so what i do & what are the solution please help any body im waiting for ur reply

I have recently purchased new s2 which is on gingerbread. I tried to update through Kies but unable to upgrade having message that my present firmware cannot be upgraded to latest version i.e. Jelly Bean. I donot wish to root my new phone right now. Can some please help me in resolving this issue.

I am bored so just wrote my own comparison with s4 mini LOL!
S4 mini is basically a updated version of Galaxy S2 with faster cpu, 0.5 more ram with exactly same size of screen. Well S2 has Super AMOLED Plus monitor while s4 mini has only Super AMOLED monitor, I am not sure does this mean s2 screen actually is better. Well s4 mini screen has little bit higher resolution. S2 can be updated to 4.1 android now while s4 mini is 4.2 so I don't think the OS version has any big different. S4 mini is even little bit thicker. Weight of both are almost the same. I just compare their Geekbench score (Geekbench is a cross-platform benchmark that tests multiple aspects of a smartphone, including integer and floating point processor performance, memory speed and memory bandwidth), s2 has 995 points and s4 mini has 1211 points, not big different and s2 is still faster than a lot of recent phone or tablet. Geekbench scores of the fastest ipad 3 version is just 846 while iphone 4s has only 648 points, ipad mini has 764 points. So even s2 is faster than all of these.

I've updated too to officialy JB 4.1.2 and the battery is about the same with ics 4.0.4.

Anonymous, 25 Jul 2013I was using my s2 last 2 months battery is the big problem ... moreI think your phone's battery is broken already. Just buy the new Battery. Mine like that too, i've replaced it with the new one and everything is ok now.

rao_03, 25 Jul 2013aftr upgrading to jb 4.1.2.... battery drains so fast....no... moreMy battery life is much longer after update to 4.2. It is much better OS control for battery for sure. Remember to set it to auto control your monitor screen brightness, this eats up most of the power.

This is such a nice phone even comparing to the most updated galaxy s4 or iphone 5. The screen size is still bigger than iphone 5 and it is fast enough to have nice user experience with most update 4.1 android except you really want to play the most updated 3d game with a phone. Basically it should be the same as the current s4 mini. Well you cannot find so many nice cases or other accessories with s4 mini. I like everything of this phone and no plan to buy another new phone yet.
