well....14april was the day,I was in Delhi for samsungs 1st ever pre launch event in India.....n I get a chance to take something on my palm....that certain something looked extremely powerfully,attractive,lightweight,very fast....n that certain something beats all other things in its class.....that certain something is none other than SAMSUNG GALAXY S2,the super AMOLED PLUS looks brilliant.....n that will be the my next phone....I have already planned to sell my desire HD.....one thing that just puts galaxys2 behind HTC ....is HTC sense hi.....Samsung touchwiz 4.0 is not cool as touchwiz ....
if compare HTC sensation vs galaxys2 only one thing will put sensation ahead is HTC sense. 3.0 UI....but that's the neglegible thing....there are lot of launchers. in android market.....n super amoled plus dual core clock speed will drive u crazy.....so just waiting for may-june....that's the time when the new era of smartphone will hit the store.....n surely it will rule the phone market just like its little brother galaxy s did....n its also getting gingerbread update.....so Sammy rocks again.....bow just a one giant is to come is iPhone 5,but I am sure it will be very costly than sgs2....n this super amoled plus display will easyly beat iPhones ratina ...galaxy s have already done this.....I have experienced smiled plus.....it will rock for sure.....worth 32000/- rupees!

Nokia N8. hahaha. Anyway I can't wait for this mobile to be released everywhere! If Samsung is smart it will go to all the big carriers again like the original Galaxy. I just really hope all that bs about the us getting a super lcd and Tegra chip set is just bs.

I have been using the Samsung wave for the past year and it is a great phone, super fast but i will be upgrading to this when it comes out. Wave is all metal so I'm a bit worried about going to the plastic but the specs are to good to miss this one.

may i know what is the difference Hml and hdmi? Hml will support hd port tv or not? Or hml is only normal tv out compatible in all tv? Hdmi only support hdporttv, how about hml?

The camera is quite nice. If you click the picture that they took of the flowers, you'll notice when you zoom in that the flowers are fake flowers which means that it shows quite a bit of detail.

I love my mobile i'm going to miss it but in front of symbian i've to sell it just hate symbian. I've never used android but i'm sure buying galaxy s ii i will be satisfy..

frankly as apps concerned i give it 8/10, the huge flop is the phone as phone,,,calling proved to be the most annoying thing in the world, half an hour to find ur contact...and then..like if u are u using the dreadful windows vista, the phone asks u a million time if u wanna call or do some other thing, which made the phone fly from the driver seat to the back of my tahoe so many times and use my business blackberry instead...mot probably back to E7

Galaxy S II is good phone,but is price is not declare, so I recommend sony ericsson experia ARC in same category and is price is Rs.26500.00
some specification are better then S II

Agree that you can connect MHL to present present HDMI in
but how the quality fares versus micro HDMI port. MHL guys only talk about facility of charging mobile thru hdmi which practically can be done now by pluging the charger in.
I hope the MHL-HDMI cables/convertors come cheap and widely available as phone companies gen. do not provide these

mickel, 16 Apr 2011oooooooooooo seriously! the samsung galaxy s2 is miles ahea... moreBy the time Samsung I9100 Galaxy SII releases, i believe it becomes out dated. It's release date has been in the news since FEB, no sign yet.
I think, Samsung must have found many bugs and try to patch it up before its release. Samsung Galaxy I9000 has also problems with GPS, sudden hang of the phone etc.
