This phone have great up to date proccessor+OS, have best mobile phone big display with the very slim light weight design and GSMarena allready shows its camera quality of day shorts which is good but the only thing which we should scared about that is the camera of Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II be able to take better pictures/videos in dark or low light or not becaure it dont have either zenon flash or not any backlit sensor like Exmor R ?
what u all think is Samsung I9100 Galaxy S II can take better pictures/videos in dark-lowlight like nokia n8 or Sony Ericsson new XPERIA series which have Exmor R sensor or not ?

It's awesome! It's almost back up to 80% almost! And Samsung is deffinately the best! Apple is just that company that has the name that is in the lead cause so many people don't know any better until it's too late. And Android is deffinately on the rise to the top! Everyone is denying it, just like they deny that icrap sucks, but you can't change what's happening

Will the Samsung Galaxy S2 really feature only 800 X 480 resolution over the 4.27" display? That's going to give a terrible ppi, grossly inferior to the iPhone 4.
Any news to the contrary?

This is a good phone but I think the price of this phone is gone cost an ARM and leg on the release of this phone here in the Philippine , it will be a race for which company gonna release the first dualcore phone ,who has a good aftersale service and steadily releases os updates

i've attended show bro.... its complete piece of copy cat and demanding to meet better than others.... rather it has no creative ideas in them.....
1. design similar to iphone... it is a broad screen i phone with flash...
2. soft ware update is common... but uniqueness from other company feature lacks here.
3. targeted on to make slimmest phone. so fragile i hope...
4. dual core processor doesn't seem so good or better than single core nexus one phone...
5. basic android phone... with no uniqueness has seen like htc features...
6. draw back 480*800 in latest phone is sucks...
7. may be atttractive but soon forgettable on releas of other models.....
8. no idea about battery.... i m sorry
9. it will be so shiny in day light like samsung galaxy s ..... i hope because it is super amoled plus....

Honestly, take it from me, iPhone has hit the "plateau" of its product cycle. You can only make so much improvements on a single product, before you realize that BEYOND this, you cannot improve any further without changing the product itself.
iOS is a closed platform. Maybe Apple can tweak it here and there, but it cannot do an ANDROID. If you notice, until now, iphone doesnt have radio, adobe flash,.. or even live wallpapers. apple added multi-tasking, like an afterthought, to iphne 4 and look what a sorry-ass joke it looks like compared to Android's multi-tasking.. ;p
Despite being handicapped, Apple iphone still improves in TRICKLES.. added 3G in iphone 3g, added better camera in 3gs, added camera flash in 4.. coz if they put all the features at once, they wont have anything left to put in. iPhone is like a box with 4 corners. This time, all 4 corners are full, so where do you go now??
My bet is Apple will go the Android way and go vertical -- increase iphone size to 4", and dual-core cpu.

AnonD-367, 10 Apr 2011This phone have great up to date proccessor+OS, have best m... moreN8 is not impressive, maybe Arc or Neo is. I tried N8 instore, and it got yellow fringes on pics. Didnt see it with Arc though. Arc IS impressive, though, bright or no light. Fantastic phone for camera buffs.
S2, however, is underwhelming. For price of $900, all you get is dual-core, and, s-amoled plus screen 4.3" (so big). The casing is identical to the cheapie- Galaxy Ace, while the apps are same as that you would find on cheaper Samsung smartphones like Ace or Gio. No special LWP, or unique apps, installed, unlike the original galaxy S. The in-box accessories are also standard stuff--
I will wait until maybe 6 months, for models with same specs, but cheaper price, rolls in.
This phone is for the ones with deep pockets..:P

Hey All,
With yet no confirm schedule of launch, its getting more and more tough to wait for this masterpiece. I don’t see any other phone so close to S2 as of now. I see following heads-up:
1) Super Amoled -- 4.3 Inches
2) 1.2 Ghz Dual Core CPU, 1 GB RAM
3) 8 MP with LED Flash
Though somewhere I feel Sony Erricsion Arc was somewhere close but no front camera defeats it. Also, not sure on LED LCD vs S-Amoled. SE Arc comes with 1500 MAh NI-Polimer as compared to Li-Ion in Galaxy. NI-PO are better and stable batteries and give much longer life.
I am from India and trying to arrange this Mobile from my friends in US, hoping this will get launched there much before in India.
