Mobilemaster, 09 Mar 2011I have a question guys... Is that true that all of the Sams... moreSamsung makes 100% of its own parts for mobile phones. Some of its high end smart phones are still assembled in S.Korea. All major mobile phones makers are now using China for assembly and parts. Samsung is also using Foxconn and Flextronics for assembly ONLY of its mobile phones in China. Foxconn and Flextronics are both Taiwanese companies operating in China.
Fortunately, now, all mobile phones are made to high standards and excellent quality plastic. The days of "made in china" meaning low quality are long gone. Samsung has its own quality control in China and the quality is as good as made in S.Korea.

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2011I believe it's about 218 ppi. The reason the Iphone 4's is ... moreWell based on Samsung, they mentioned that the screen is more detailed as compared to the Galaxy S despite a bigger screen of the same resolution. That's because they changed the shape of the pixels and that makes sense

Anonymous, 09 Mar 2011How many PPI does the 4.27" display of the Samsung Gal... moreI believe it's about 218 ppi. The reason the Iphone 4's is so high is because of it's tiny screen with one of the highest resolutions. The 218 is still adequate as is wvga resolution and it is barly lower than the Iphone's resolution. Also between the 4.3inch screen and Super Amoled Plus being the best screen technology out and all things concidered you would not be able to tell the difference. Infact the Gs2 should still look way better.

I have a question guys... Is that true that all of the Samsung phones are made by Foxconn??? Somebody said this, but I don't really agree with him. I own a Samsung phone, and on it it is mentioned that it is made in Korea by Samsung! Now what it's the truth about this? Only the low-end phones are made by Foxconn, and the high-end ones are made by Samsung itself? Thank you for the answer.
