My only issue regarding the Galaxy 2 was its size. A 4 inch display is already suffice.

chester, 19 Feb 2011"Do you think that the first Intel phones will so grea... morei think no need to run any kind of apps on a phone cos this is a phone a devise for making calls messaging social networking browsing and... that fits in your pocket. so in this kind of devise with maximum screen size of 4.3" you want to do photoshop or 3dmax? it is necessary to do this kind of stuff on the go? smart phones abilities are growing very fast for on the go activities till android comes on stage and played a role in about 2 years that symbian and windows phone cant even do in much more time.

chester, 19 Feb 2011"Do you think that the first Intel phones will so grea... moreDon't worry, about the flexibility of Android OS. The Ice Cream version will come on phones in Summer. That version will be even better than the version 2.3. By the way you will see that the first Intel smart phones will NOT have a big success, because Android will beat them hard. Maybe that Meego will have some popularity by 2013! :D

www.oled-display.net/s... more"Upgrading from Pentile matrix to Real-Stripe panel technology takes this 4.3 inch beauty to the next level..."
Thats sounds nice, BUT does that translate into more energy-effective = consume less battery-juice? Im worry about the 2-core processor + the larger screen. The measly jump from 1500mAh to 1650mAh doesnt give me much confidence.

why couldn't samsung add stereo speakers, DNSe2.0 and Dobly 5.1 It would make the I9100 the best phone ever. It's not asking much consider the price of device

chester, 19 Feb 2011"Do you think that the first Intel phones will so grea... moretrue indeed.....but for that technology to come we 've to wait for a couple of years.......and the life span of a mobile device is just 2-3 yrs, after that it becomes outdated....as for as the present scenario android is the best in market atleast for now....but when people realise that it is time to move on then they wud certainly shift their base to sum other if that platform is better, just as they moved from symbian to android....for now the shift of balance is with android and if intel can really please the masses with that kind of devices with reliability then thumbs up to intel and meego...........:)

Quite simply the best handset ever made. I'm trying to avoid using the term iphone-killer because frankly mentioning the 2 phones in the same sentence is an insult to the galaxy s 2. Can't wait to get my hands on one.

www.oled-display.net/s... moreIt still does not improve the lifespan of oled screens.
Unless you change phones every 6 months - 1 year (not everyone does that), amoled screen colors are too gaudy.
I prefer slcds/retina display.

Mobilemaster, 19 Feb 2011Do you think that the first Intel phones will so great? The... more"Do you think that the first Intel phones will so great? They will need experience to make good phones like HTC, or Samsung. I recommend you to go 4 Android! There is NO way that Meego can beat Android, because Android at least has a PAST! The company has a lot of experience, which Intel lacks."
Ha ha,u say Intel lacks experience that companies like HTC & Samsung have,I doubt that considering the fact that Intel supplies almost all chips used by any PC(Desktop,Laptop,Netbook) on this planet.
Intel & Meego is just a bad combination for other players on the mobile sector.
Coming to the mobile phones, their new Medfield SoC out-perfomes other processors on the bench mark test.
mynokiablog.com/2011/02/01/nokia-medfield-dev-device-specs-in-nitty-gritty-detail/
'Using a synthetic Linux Benchmark (likely quadrant) a score of 6389.62 BogoMIPS was achieved. Comparatively speakaing, Tegra 2 on the Optimus 2X manages to get a score of 2391 BogoMIPS using a similar synthetic test. The caveat here is that the test on the Optimus is not optimised for multiple cores. However, even if you assumed a generous improvement of 2 times the single core performance, there is still significant headroom as far as the Intel chip and raw CPU performance is concerned.'
A good smart phone has to have at least powerfull processor &flexible OS among other specs.
The specs on Samsung Galaxy S2 are O.K,but the OS is not flexible. On a flexible OS,u should be able 2 run anything u want & that not the case with Adroid which has limitations.e.g,on yo normal PC u can download & install any program u want right, but on these Adroid phones u only download &run Adroid apps-limited to that ecosystem,u may say it only a smartphone, yes maybe what i want is a mobile computer, one that can jump 2 any ecosystem with no limitations. This is where linus/Meego comes, with Intel u have a full mobile PC device that perfomes beyond yo expectation.

Which is the better, the Samsung Omnia HD or the Samsung Omnia II? I think that this is a good question. I heard that the Omnia II had some speed problems, it lags a lot. The Omnia II has more CPU, but if it lags. The OS-es are different.
