I've used this phone for a very long while untill yesterday. The phone still works fine if there is any contious lags or storage issue I usually hard reset my phone.. The reason I changed my phone is the battery lif other than that I still love the S2...

my Samsung galaxy S ii GT-19100 has stopped accessing the mobile networks even though they are enabled. Does anyone know what I can do? I can still text over Wifi but not otherwise.

Broke my last phone and have been using an old Telecom phone. Just brought a S2 for $50 so hope it works well.

A great smartphone! I use it last 5 years. last feu days the phone become slow & hot when I operate the phone. Solution please.

Simple trick for these battery systems- buy a replacement and use it while origional loses all power (and battery memory) Then 2 weeks later- put it back in phone and charge full normally- and it goes back to long life and won't get hot and lose power quick like before. It relearns and works perfect like before.

Ya, I too have battery problem and also when I open Camera it makes a buzzing sound.

THEALBFK, 05 Sep 2016they should puti a new version for it at least 4.2Use Cyanogenmod cm13 and can use it with Android 6.0.1. Install gapps micro f.e. to keep it fast. Had to repartition /system to make it bigger (1 GB). There' a manual out there with 42 steps in 3 categories which works fine. Forget heimdall, didn't work and the USB drivers switching for using heimdall is a hassle, too. Use Odin to flash.

i bought one in 2010.in 2012 after android update, this one faced a major breakdown & in 2015 i got it repaired. now the phone switches ON in only safe mode. phone is absolutely fine with 4.1.2 android. problem is that apps like facebook & its messenger, whatsapp, truecaller are hidden & unable to access. also the audio does not come out. can someone help.

I have Samsung Galaxy s II i have it in 2012 now it battery is totally dead please someone advise me which battery is good for this mobile.
Mobile is working well without any problem except battery please advise me model to buy it.

i have it since summer of 2011.
It felt on the ground 300days*5years=1500 times at least.
i am scared of the day that i will have to change it.
the rest of the family has newest phones but i use it more hard than they and still ticking.
new battery 2 months ago.

I can't understand people who can love this mobile in 2016. Always cried because it runned so damn slow even in 2012 when it came out. I had pretty much phones in years but now i bought S7, the first phone where i can say: its good. With one bun: the freaking glass that breaks with one small fall.
