The Specs of this phone are amazing! However, When I had my Samsung Galaxy S (i9000), I was very disappointed to find out that Samsung was no longer supporting it or coming out with an upgrade to android 2.2. Samsung tech support is a pain to talk to and Samsung Kies is a pain to use. Also, The Samsung i9000 could only video call other Samsung galaxy S users only and over wifi only (unless a third party app was downloaded)! I'm leaning more towards the Motorola Atrix because of my experience. Still can't decide between the two though. I hope the Galaxy S II will have better support to avoid experiences like mine.

F01, 14 Feb 2011I don't see it in the spec sheets on the Samsung website, o... moreIt supports MHL, for linking to HD TVs, I just don't know if any TVs support it yet. It also supports DLNA.
I don't see any mention of USB OTG on the Samsung site.

AnonD-1319, 14 Feb 2011it has HDMI out look again in the specs sheetI don't see it in the spec sheets on the Samsung website, only the GSM Arena specs had it and they always make mistakes.
Also I watched the hardware video hands-on by MobileBurn and the only ports they mentioned/were visible were the micro-USB and 3.5mm headphone ports. If it does have HDMI out it would have to use a micro-USB -> HDMI adapter.

Samsung and Google are really good at one thing... copying Apple in every small detail and then improvise on that. Well..camera focus has shifted from imaging to video recording (i would prefer if imaging was given more preference). hardware wise nothing to complain.. has everything other than the fact that it still maintains its cheap plasticy finish.
a stellar device no doubt as a smartphone and for the possibilities that can be explored.

regardless of the design, this is today's most sophisticated mobile phone. with a touch screen 4.3 ", dual-core processor, 1 gb ram, 8 Mpx camera and front camera. samsung galaxy S2 is a very nice phone. what is the price?

The biggest letdown for people interested in buying galaxy sII...
Some of online retailers have started pre-booking of this phone & they r pricing this phone at $800 - $900.
This phone is ridiculously pricey......
I won't pay so much money even for a Tablet.
And if someone still puts his hard earned money into buying this phone than he is sure to be ditched by samsung with no future upgrades of android at all !!!
