Omg!!! Its so slim and yet the processor is so powerful... Will my whole phone fry when i am on the phone or when i'm serving the net? And hows the lifespan of the battery coz i9000's battery lifespan really sucks to the max...

i am waiting for this phone and i really hope it is at least a match with the LG Optimus 2x or even better specs. if not ill buy the LG for the first time

The must important thing in the S2 will be the battery to be the best phone ever. if it is 1600 mAH or less, I am going to change my mind to Atrix, otherwise, it must be more power battery lifetime to buy these beast.

And it deffinately is better. Samsung has been upping the icrap for a while just like many other companies that make good phones.

I dont understand why they are making this phone look like the iphone 4. wot is the point? if u buy it ur guna feel like u bought the chinese version of an iphone. they should make it better than the iphone, not copy it.

Hi all,
This phone is a walking beauty. I like everything about this handset. I currently have an Iphone4 but will migrate around May/June for this handset. I will wait and see what battery it has. This will be the deciding factor. If the battery is 1500 MAH or less, then I will go for the Motorola Atrix which has a beast of a battery.

First HD capable phone, first 12Mpgx phone, first built in project, they made the hummingbird cpu which is the best in it's class and the Orion will be the best in it's class, and their amoled screens are in such high demand that companies have to switch the screen technology in their amoled handsets and Samsung will have to open new factories just for the production of Amoleds. Also they made the capacitive screens. And the Galaxies had the most rounded features when released and That Galaxy 2 is not their only beast, but it is going to be the beast!! The Orion performance plus their Super Amoled screens. They Also have the Lte phone for Verizon and the Infuse 4G for AT&T which will be the first GSM 4G phone for us. AND ALSO other companies use their cpu's like oh I don't know.. APPLE! Yup it's Samsung ticking under those iphones.

Orion began sampling back in Q4 2010 and was scheduled to go into mass production sometime in the first half of this year. It supports Full HD output via an HDMI 1.3a port – in fact the chip can concurrently run an external display while simultaneously driving two onboard displays, not that we’re expecting Samsung to make the most of that capability – and has an embedded GPS receiver. The same dual-core chip should also power Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab slates.

One thing is for sure... !!!
This yr is gonna see pretty much awesome competition in smartphone segment.
Just take a look at the devices coming in 2011 -
From SE - Arc , play ,neo ,duo & some dual cores as SE confirmed recently & they even said that they have some interesting concept in mind for this yr.
From samsung the only mean machine would be galaxy s2 , nothing else.
From apple - the much anticipated iPhone 5.
From nokia - n9 (seems a great device) & even some dual core sets at the end of 2011
From HTC - qualcomm processors based dual core phones.
From LG - optimus 2x, optimus black & many other devices
From moto - atrix, bionic & some other phones.
From Blackberry - dual core smartphones.
I don't like samsung at all & i'm accepting that in front of everyone & the truth is that this yr samsung won't be able to sell even the half of galaxy smartphones it sold last yr.
The competition is so much hot this yr that samsung too will be lost in the crowd with it's only android flagship device for 2011 - galaxy s2.
Best of luck to every company except samsung.
