Yes i had the same problem, I just bought it new and was switching off suddenly !!! :( :(
i have 2 years warranty, i sent it back to the store to the service!!

i had this problem with my S2 when i had a lot of applications installed.The solution is to uninstall the aplications you don't use often.

u r unlucky amit...thats why ur phone doing bad....im using s2 more than 1year 5 month since the launch time....but no problem till yet...just changed the screen protector 2times.....i think they give u the G version of s2....which is downgraded ....

This is a worst phone, I ever seen. I have bought Samsung Galaxy S2 in Dec. 2012. Since then I am facing lot of problems. Mobile get automatically switched off (almost 2 to 3 times daily). I have made complaint in Samsung & asked for replacement. But Samsung has not given me any replacement till today. Instead of that, they have changed Motherboard of mobile. Now I am facing problems in display. Within 1 month, I have went to Service center almost 7 times & called Customer care almost 10 times. I am already frustrated. I recommend "not to buy any Samsung product".

Hiiiii friends I am from india...... I have galaxy s2 i9100 model running on 4.0 version....... I downloaded vice city on galaxy s2..... But it always freezes during the mission........ 9 times out of 10 it freezes during the mission..... Plz tell anyone having galaxy s2 facing same problem..... Thanks for reading and waiting for your reply.......

SII, because it is Samsung, and to me (people can have different opinions), Samsung has better OS render (the face of the OS that we use) than Sony or HTC. I have seen Sony, I hate the fact that I cannot add/remove the homescreens (just 5), HTC is good, but looks backdated to me. If I am to use Android, I'd go for Samsung as it is more customiseable. But if you choose to install custom ROM, then you can go for any of the above, all are the same - just here and there. That is MY opinion, yours can be different and is most welcome to say it loud. Just please don't fight over it. But I'd request you to finally write it down here which one you bought. TC.
