It is better than xperia s .colour and contrast are amazing in s2. I have both .But s2 is superb with amoled plus.

Android 4.2.4 doesn't excist at the moment for this phone. You can upgrade aswell to android 4.1.2 (check on youtube)

Xperia p is better than this mobile there is no combare the brightness and the clearness is no combared the ppi is higer even if in the night the camera is amaziiiiiiiiiiiiing thanks to whitr magic and x more ii advise any one to get this brand

the major problem is SGS2 several time always... moreThe over heating issue is a Hardware flaw and the only reason which forced Samsung to release a crippled version of S2 i.e GT-i9100G which is bundled with a TI-OMAP 4430 chipset, Dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 and PowerVR SGX540 GPU. If the heating is while you surf internet or use it for wifi, then you could look in the thread below may be it helps..!

i had my s2 on dec. 7th 2012,it works fine i have only... morei hv a SGS2,
the major problem is SGS2 several time always overheating, so u need to close all the application after using it & dont charge 2 long may cause yr SGS2 board heat, i used SGS2's from the first SGS2 release...it a good hi-end smartphone actually
last, several application tht u installed on yr SGS2 due 2 yr SGS2 overheatin... try it, good luck...
gingerbread always overheating my SGS2...

Hi,
i had my s2 on dec. 7th 2012,it works fine i have only one problem,it heats up and the heat comes from the camera on the back then it turns off and stays hot till i remove the battary for a min. or two then put back in it opens alone without switch it on, i don't know what is the problem is it the battary or something else please help ,thank u

ange, 01 Jan 2013i'm considering buying this phone. can someone explain what... moreIt is android's way of naming their software,like windows xp and windows vista and win 7,for android first was cupcake,then donut,the gingerbread,then the ics and now the latest software is jellybean,at first it was really confusing to me to(I kind of hoped it was some sort of new tech that your phone can make desert LOL)oh and the first android tablets ran on honeycomb.

"Project butter" is only placebo, if Google say it is smoother it must be true! My S3 is definetly a lot slower and less stable with Jelly Bean than on ICS, even if I do a factory reset both berfore and after updating, or even install Jely Bean on a completly "clean" S3! Multiview is pointless, and there are cameraapps that take just as god pictures in low light... in Google Play, so I will never even test updating from ICS 4.0.4 to any Jelly Bean! On my S3 4.1.2 it is not even possible to use Googe Maps using only gps without allowing Google to anytime upload my position using wifi or 3g!
Without "Voodoo Sound" for S3, S2 is still a better value or money than S3, and my Note II I use as a small tablet because it is too big to use as my daily phone!
