samsungfans, 30 Nov 2012i wan't to know when S II can upgrade jelly bean...i can't ... morebuddy just wait for a month or so..it is confirmed by samsung that jelly bean is coming to s 2 in dec or jan..also there are unofficial leaks available on net,which are stable, confirms that its under development and we can expect it soon :) cheers!!

Hi All
Need help.My battery life on this phone is only 3-5 hours in standby mode, without using it for that period on internet or calls, just to see phone off later.has anyone experienced this and how can I save on battery life, as I've tried everything.According to specs on Battery Life it is 9hrs on talk time & 560hrs on standby mode.
Pls help all othe Galaxy 2 users.

Dear do u hav any idea about how to check whether my S2 is rooted or not. As im new to android i dont know where this SUPERUSER ICON will come......pls help me out in this regard.

last night i get 4.1 jelly bean update but after completion of update and reboot my phone replies unfortunately .com.7 not responding and in setting it shows 4.0.4 and when i click on software update it says no update available please help me to get official jelly bean update again... thank you

Hi Guys Im from Bangalore INDIA.... Today morning one strange thing happaened to me i.e when i connect my S2 to my laptop today morning via kies i have noticed that new firmware upgrade available i,e mentioned below.....
Current firmware version : PDA:LPF / PHONE:LPX / CSC:LPC (MID)
Latest firmware version : PDA:LPJ / PHONE:LQ6 / CSC:LPH (MID)
BUT when i try to upgrade i got an error as *Failed to run firmware upgrade. unknown error occured* i tried many times around 10 times but same error occured and i also uninstall my kies and reinstalled it.
PLEASE GUYS HELP ME IN THIS REGARD, WHY ITS HAPPENING LIKE THIS and anybody is facing the same problem.
One more thing how to know whether my S2 is rooted..

Desire X is not high end phone, its not sensible to compare Desire X with high end like S2. S2 competitor are like HTC Sensation, Desire HD etc. But S2 has edge over its competitors

mit, 29 Nov 2012Go for htc desire x, much better option.HTC desire is a lame set in comparison to this one. Its internal memory is low, Its Ram is low, Camera is low, It does not support Flash, Its has an older GPU Adreno while this one S2 has Mali, and Desire X does not even have a secondary cam for Video conferencing. Samsung wins this one. :)
