Hi folks, I am from India and I got a update via Kies for this phone. The android version I had was 4.03 stock. I thought this new update would be for JellyBean. However, it updated my phone only till 4.04 version. For guys from India who own this phone have you received 4.1 update??

Guys.. I'm planning to buy s2.. but nw a bit confused. is it worth buy s2 bcoz i came to know about the following problems
1. battery draining in few hours after few months of usage
2. yellow tint in display.
3. display problem in cold or old temperature
4. yellow tint while taking photos of white surfaces
5. amoled led plus screen give many problem and have shorter lifespan(the reason why samsung had came back to amoled led in s3( not sure, may be wrong))Help me friends. Suggest me whether to get for it.

guyz, i'm having problem while using google play store via wi-fi these days. Each time I try the apps store it keeps loading forever. Is there anyone facing this problem ? I exposed my wi-fi router to every nearby places to my phone, everything works except the apps...

That didn't help me before when i was running ICS 4.0.3, i always answered the calls manually but still had the same problem, the problem was a OS problem and when i updated to Jelley Bean 4.1.2 the problem was gone..
Don't know if the problem is solved in ICS 4.0.4 because i never tested it, this problem doesn't affect everyone with ICS 4.0.3 but some, so upgrade to JB 4.1.2 and the problem is solved, plus you get at much better Galaxy S2 than ever with any previous Android OS, stability, performance, smoothness and more unlocked RAM than STOCK ICS 4.0.3..

Try to update to ICS 4.0.4 it might help or in my opinion go directly to the best OS ever for Galaxy S2 out there and that's Jelly Bean 4.1.2 wich is much faster, stable and smother than any of the previous outdated OS for Galaxy S2..
