My white Galaxy s2 i9100 suddenly went off two days ago while browsing. Initially i didn't take it seriously. I put it down and went to bed. When I attempted to charge in the morning nothing came on. My laptop too cannot detect it at all. So i tried hard resetting by pressing volume up/down + power button nothing.
I made some research and find out that the IC might have burnt and has to be replaced. Some suggested the motherboard needs to be changed(how that is even possible under the circumstance the my phone went off is beyond me). Now I have decided to change the IC.
I need help with this please...Can the phone be repaired again? Is this common with the Galaxy s2? What else could be the problem beside the IC being demaged? Help please...Thanks

hey guys i update my s2 to 4.0.4 by samsung service centre and now my serial no. is showing 000000000...... any one plz help why it is so
