My experience with the ics update is worse. How come my phone automatically turn on the wifi.. Never happen in 2.3.6 Charged From 100% and 20 % in 12 hours. Never use in 12 hours. Ics to blame or some app installed. (Got malware) Do I need to format my sgs2..? Anyone can give solution..? From what I know android is just too much malware app in store. Thanks guy..

i updated sgs2 to ics. am facing many problems like wifi,screen clearity,brightness and many more.. I wanna install ginger bread to my sgs2 again. is that possible???

Amazing performance. It looks much slicker now.Battery life improved, GMAIL new app is much better & faster, some changes in video gallery layout.Very happy. Rethinking should I really buy S3 now or wait or enjoy this treat for some more time.

I've upgraded my s2 phone to ICS, my ctc are beeb displayed 4 times for same ctc, try to modify display setting in ctc still same. wat must i do...??
and also smtimes am getting prob using wifi... it doesnt connect...

i bought samsung s2 last tuesday but my problem is my phone always hang, for example i used for alarm then wake up in the morning cannot turn off the alarm i need to off my phone to make it stop, and another ex. im using headset to listen to my music and suddenly off again but still have worst music sounds.. please advice me regarding my prob... thank you very much

I bought Galaxy S2 a week back.. I love the phone very much.. Its a mini computer of sorts.. Had a couple of issues though - battery backup is very poor.. battery drains very fast if you use the internet/sync emails/play games (even for 10 odd mins).. Thought of upgrading to ICS.. Did it today from Service Center in New Delhi.. Post upgrade graphics and smoothness has increased but battery backup has worsened further.. It take 3-5 hours for a full charge vs 2 hrs in gingerbread.. Also within 2 hours my battery fell from 75% to 35% with mild internet usage/email sync and calling.. Now I have to carry my charger all the time.. I am very dissapointed and will switch back to gingerbread.. PLEASE DO NOT Upgrade to ICS.. It has many bugs too.. Screen becomes unresponsiv n icons dont get clicked in one go.. Thanks

I got this phone 3 weeks ago. I had issues about the signal: Once i go to a zone where there's no network signal it doesn't recover unless i restart the phone or turn the flight mode on and off. Apparently updating ICS fixed it. So i think that it was a bug on the gingerbread software which was the original OS version when i bought it. If you're planning to buy a smartphone, I recommend this one. It's fast and there's a whole lot that you can do with it!
