VladUK, 14 May 2012Since I updated my SGSII to ICS 4.0.3 I have to say I regre... morei bought my samsung galaxy s2 here in philippines with the ICS.the only problem i encountered is the vioce talk feature has disappear.but somehow its a nice phone and i download the free vioce command on play store.so far so good.

Guys, I am form India, I need to upgrade my OS from 2.3.3 to ICS. Please guide as what precautions do I need to follow before I upgrade my phone. I have various HD video files and Mp3 on my phone and have 16 GB external card on my phone. Please help.

Your phone will get charged faster as compared to when it is kept on. Also if you want to increase the phone's bettery life, then switch off the net connection when not required and also minimise the brightness of the screen. I do the same and it works.

The only flaw in S2 is the battery issue as it drains in half a day on heavy usage & on a full day wit light usage..otherwise its an awesome device..but in S2 do go 4 d non G version as its much better than d latter..also its hard 2 find the non G version..
Htc on d contrary is again a very gud smart phone..nly issue may b d aftr sales service & customer care centers & so if any issue it wuld cost u mre as the parts wuld b expensive & not easily available..
U can even Check out the Galaxy Note..its not a bad buy either..

Have been a Samsung Galaxy 19003 user and have the same problem with Kiel... IT DOES'NT WORK!! and as for the battery life... the more apps you opened and left running, the easier it will drain your battery juice.. so I often check my Task Manager to see running apps and exit it.. and using live wallpaper and screensaver definitely took a big chunk out of your battery... So I hope Samsung engineers will find a solution on these seems perennial probs...

Hi guys...
Anybody in Malaysia already upgraded their SGS2 to ICS?
Until now, whenever I connect via KIES, there is no update for my SGS2.
Currently I'm still on Gingerbread 2.3.6

If you need more memory just install a 64 Gb microsd-card http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yYUg14u_co8 , and I recommend the app "GL to Sd" from Google Play! :)
