you seems you be very knowledgable about this phone and I thank you for your time and responding.

[ about s2 fatter work ui speed ] only for ice cream sandwich 4.0.3 user
1. Disable screen animations (Settings: Display: Animations)[ under setting> developer >window animation scale > off >transition animation scale > off
2. Disable browser plugins (Browser: Settings: Plugins)[ under internet >setting> advanced > enable JavaScript > off
3. Turn off live wallpaper[ simply wallpaper
4. Reduce the number of widgets and icons on your home screens [only 2 or 3 widgets
5. Uninstall any unused apps [ you must do it because more apps use more power and reduces angry
6. Reduce frequency of data updates (Settings: Accounts) sync use more power so kept off
7.restart phone then see .....)

gs2 fan, 29 Apr 2012hi cijo, my mate thanks so much for your post, i will look ... moreAfter you search an address, you need to click on the address to select it and then if scroll down, there should be an option "pre-cache map area" and it should work. ( I use an at&T version of galaxy s2 and it might be different from yours).
Since the search history is stored on the phone itself, we need to go to setting->applications->manage applications->select google map and uninstall updates to delete history. However, when you do that you will also lose favorites, preference, cache etc. I wish google will come up with an easy with their future updates.

Many guys are still interested in this phone because it is very well known samsung galaxy s2. Yes it is an amazing cellphone, multimedia entertainer and many more which cant be expressed in a word.But those who are about to buy this phone now, are gonna be a sheer loser. No offense but yes this is the truth. We've seen for months (not years) how dominant and prominent this smartphone has been and the way it outsmarted other devices is really noticeable. But not anymore. I didn't mean no more samsung. U can buy thousands of other set from samsung but please dont buy sgs2. If u r wise enough u can easily compare between sgs2 and other devices. Its not always the processing power. dual core, quad core, hexacore doesnt mean anything for a cell phone or smartphone or whatever.We have desktops to unleash power from i7-2600k or 3930k. So please look for other features like pixels, resolutions, bluetooth versions and many more. We the early samsung owners probably will never regret for having this because at that time sgs2 was king. Indeed once upon a time it was a king !!!

Samsung are offering the Ice Cream update,but instead of improving the phone they seem to have made it preform worse,as you can not use Sky-Go now as it needs updating to Ice Cream,battery Drains faster,an the Music player does not seem to support Video Converted mp3 songs,Just wished i would not have updated my phone now,an even Samsung who i contacted now the is problems

Dear SG-S2I9100 fans, I am using this phone for last 6 months. It is the best I have ever used. Yet, I am strggling with one function the phone automatically deliver. I want to mute the automatic message alert reading option. Though the phone kept in silant mode, the phone speaks out the alert automatically once a message received. How I can stop this function? can someone help me?

i9000 No Camera Flash
i9100 No 640 x 960 pixels
Others Specs are perfect 8/10 both
