Thanks for your answers for my previous question. Guys other than Galaxy S II, which other samsung galaxy phones do support fring, skype, nymgo, nimbuzz etc. for international calling.

Hi All. The time has come for an upgrade but I am unable to decide on whether I should take the N9 or the Galaxy S2. Any suggestions?

Id like to share some methods I had used to conserve and prolong batery life its working really good for me.
1. Dial *#9900# and click disable fast dormancy
2. Set account and sync setting to off
3. On wofi setting choose keep wifi on only when plugged in
4. On location services, untick everything ( i rarely ever used maps, n i dont like to send infos about my whereabouts to google, n I think so do you right)
5. Set the brightness setting to auto.
6. Check your apps and make them not to sync regularly especially email apps.
7. If your sets are rooted install adfree from the Play Market
8. Your good to go.
Enjoy 20% longer on-screen usage and 50% longer off-screen time. I get 36 hours per charge on moderate to heavy use (from 100% to 20%). I used to get 12 hours.

Why my S2 standby time takes only 24 hrs. According to her specification it should be 610 hrs for G3. I just this S2 last 3 days ago.

Hi friends,
I am a new s2 user.. I just checked and found out that my s2 has an update... Update is of ice cream sandwich... i want to knw if i upgrade my cell to ics will th downloaded apps in my cell be there or will tht dissapear wit th update??( It wud b pain fo me to dwnload all those apps again) I am new s2 user as i said and i am not tht tech savy.. also i ve read tht many ppl are not confrtble using ics.. they states tht it drains and has few problems..(fo me battry is bery imp as i wud b wrking fr 12 hrs and use the cell fo making calls, browsing n mailing). m confused.. idk what to do..
Please sugest me...

Well I am no expert on flash, but I just tested few youtube videos and the results are not that great. Only opera mini was able to play videos on youtube properly on m.youtube.com. but when I tried to play the same video on desktop site on galaxy s2 it is asking for flash player or html5 capable browser. So my answer would be no it does not support flash that much. I am going to download google chrome or any other html5 capable browser to see if everything works fine on them or not. So still fingers crossed. Also the quadrant on my phone works damn well until the part where it has to send information through the internet to show me the results and every time it gives me the same message "connection error". But if it had worked properly I would bet my life on it that the results would be great. Cause the test runs faster and shows more FPS then on gingerbread. If you are a big youtube fan then you will end up playing videos on m.youtube.com. on opera mini. It works for me, but it is completely upto you whether you want to upgrade or not, cause finally you will end up paying the price for your decision's. ICS works great on my device and I have certainly seen some improvements which I listed on my previous hands on review. Sorry for not providing you with any certain answer cause i do not want you to take the risk based on my comments. Good luck and let me know your experience if you upgrade.

Hi guys, have got this fone for almost a year now. absolutely brilliant....just upgraded to ICS 4.0.3........and the battery lasts for onli 7 to 8 hours at the most i normally spk for halh hour on the fone and abut an hour of browsing......earlier with gingerbread on it, it would last for about a day....Has anyone else faced the same probles...plz reply....
