joel, 16 Apr 2012Finally got this phone!soooo amazing !! My only problem is ... moreYou shouldn't have hanging issues, if you do there could be a problem with the phone or most likely you have a software problem. Try resetting the phone to factory settings. The battery issue will clear up when you use ICS (to some extent) however if you use a custom rom it's going to depend on which one you're using.Try a couple different ones and see which one suites you best.

Disappointed, 15 Apr 2012Very sorry to have bought one. Poor build quality. Many ha... moredon't be sorry. try to fight back.
google and youtube are full of examples of faulty screens, cameras and batterie issues.
            you are not alone.
write in the complaints book. don't they have one at the shop where you bought your phone?
complain to samsung headquartes. make some noise. make yourself heard.
the s2 is far from being flawless. it has many recognisable faults and problems and it's not fair to be paying for a faulty unit that samsung refuses to replace or refund.
companies should respect their customers. negative reports on very pricey phones have lost many companies their leading status (remember nokia). competition is just around the corner.
i also don't think i will buy a samsung phone soon. certainly, never again such an expensive model that needs to be paid in instalments throughout many months.
            always fight for your rights.
don't give up, don't give in.

AnonD-50196, 15 Apr 2012Dear Disappointed , Are you wondering also why this does n... moreMany customers are stuck with their phones because they will be paying them for 2 or even 3 years.

It's very common to buy a phone with a price plan attached.
Unfortunately, it's quite common to have our complaints rejected or unattended by after-sales lousy, incompetent services and being literally "stuck" to a phone that is a sad disappoitment for years, because you can't (afford to) exchange it and the brand insists, i.e, a yellow tinting in the screen is "absolutely normal" and it's the customer that must adapt brightness to "avoid the effect" * True Story!*

When I bought my S2 I was expecting something much better, my previous phone was not a samsung, but my next phone won't be a samsung, either.

It's up to customers to change and put companies under pressure to improve overall quality and after sales services.
Some things aren't excusable and saying "don't photograph white backgrounds" is unacceptable.
I, for one, don't want to get used to it!
But I too am stuck for this phone for another year... and even then, I am not sure I'll be able to afford changing to another phone.
That's the sad reality for many of us...

Today's powerful smartphones appeared maybe three years ago.  Now imagine: you are the same guy like now, somehow appeared backwards twenty years ago. You have, lets say today's latest flagship (2011-2012) in your hands fully charged. Can you imagine, how people would react to such technology? What kind of world class exposure you could organise with a bunch of volunteers prepared to help you? And finally: what kind of most wanted person in world's history you would become, after everybody knows about you? Lol

bought an S2, 15 Apr 2012hey disappointed guy, you sure bout this?I mean,It's only ... moreHe's stuck with the phone because he must be paying it for two years... many people are paying their phones on 24 and 36-months payment plans.

I'm sorry your phone has all those problems. I too am somewhat disappointed as I expected better battery and screen quality, but I tend to overlool them as this phone was so expensive and it will have to last...

Guyz, dont use battery apps to prolong battery life coz its a sheer act of fool. In the task manager u'll find that this apps is consuming a fraction of power which was supposed to save power. U actually can get all the battery info (signal, battery level,...etc) in the "about phone" option(settings). All the battery saving(!!) apps use samsungs built in utility to provide info. Its like attaching a digital interface to ur wrist watch but using twice as much power at the same time.

Such plans are quite common: you have to "stick to your phone", i.e., pay for the phone and calls for 12, 24 or even 36 months before the phone can become yours and you may sell it or change it.
