To sync you should use phone - google and google - outlook. That way you don't need to use kies and its always synced, not only when you explicitly connect and sync. No dupes here, more than 800 contacts.

Guys did u checked out the speed of android4.0 browser its awsome...its like 10times more the browsing speed of old froyo..I have VOTED 30/30 to get android 5.0 jelly bean..and you guys should also do as an sgs2 fan

Keep an eye on Kies and make sure that firmware update is turned on.
Alternatively, there are many unlocked kernels which you can use, via a tool like Odin, to flash a different version of Android onto your SGS2.
This requires ROOT access, and may brick your phone and void your warranty, so do not attempt if you are unsure how.

Hi! I've been using SGS2 for almost 2 months now and it's the best phone I've ever had. Just one question though. When will they launch ICS in the Philippines?

I'm using this phone since 4 months, keep on hanging and sometimes restart the phone automatically. When we update the samsung applciations, it hangs on logo and doesn't boot-up. Having some technical problems

well my galaxy s2 screen is cracked , cause i sit on the phone that was on my back pocket.... is too expensive to fix,, 180 dlls the screen and 40 dlls the work.... hmmm any advises? cause i want to put the icream s. soon and I have no phone now :(, sad but true... IM CONSIDERING TO BUY the galaxy tab and use it as a phone,,

Hi, I'm from Bangladesh. I have been using this awesome phone for last six months. At first I was not into it (I own an N8, which was better in Anna), but now I'm totally satisfied. My query is, how do I update it to ICS? Is the update available in Bangladesh? I bought it from a friend who got it from Malaysia. I can provide you my phone's details if needed. I don't want to use other than Samsung updates. If someone knows about it, please response.

Hi there SGS2 Fans.. plz help me im facing problem in sync with outlook.. please read below
i m using SGS2 from over 3 months. my android ver. is 2.3.5
i m facing one problem when i sync my contact with outlook 2010 via kies, it will make duplicate those contact which i create newly and not just double if i click again to sync during same time when connected to kies it will make 3rd time duplicate contacts.
please some one help me
