I know what you're going through.
Samsung won't fix that. Only a few lucky units have zero fault screens.
That is why Samsung is basically giving up on amoled + screens...
Just look at Nexus' and Note's screens:
They're plain "Super AMOLED" screens (NOT Plus).
This phone IS a disappointment.
I'm sorry to say it's too expensive for what it's worth.
The hardware may be there, but the quality sure isn't...
Try to get your phone exchanged, because there is nothing that will repair the Yellow Tint on our screens...

people the samsung s2 ics is gargage , ive used it smooth from the homescreen but lags when it comes to apps and games esp gameloft games and live wall papers it keeps crashing and ive never had this on gingerbread etc .. the answer is to get rooted and intsall the latest ressurection remix ics for galaxy s2...trust me not even cm mod9 is that good

As many people have updated to ICS....can someone tell me if gmail with video chat is available or not... i know it seems to be a dumb question as none of the change logs have mentioned it...:( Can someone tell when can we expect gmail with video chat as it was expected with ICS earlier

Hi there SGS2 Fans.. plz help me im facing problem in sync with outlook.. please read below
i m using SGS2 from over 3 months. my android ver. is 2.3.5
i m facing one problem when i sync my contact with outlook 2010 via kies, it will make duplicate those contact which i create newly and not just double if i click again to sync during same time when connected to kies it will make 3rd time duplicate contacts.
please some one help me

Galaxy S has 233PPI colour density and S2 has 217PPI. Does it mean that S has sharper display than S2????? On the other hand S2 has super AMOLED PLUS display but S has super Amoled. So, I want to know which one has sharper display and why????? Can anyone tell me?????

Indian customers will probably get ICS on their S2's when JellyBean is seeding to korea. Its not like we are paying less money to get the devices. In fact I feel that we paid more.
Things like this really make me sick of buying a samsung phone in the future.Not to take anything away from the device. I have been using it for 8 months now and its awesome. But we want our updates like everyone.

I have just done one of my battery tests using Samsung battery thats comes with sgs2 and the Anker battery at 9.99GBP from Amazon at 1900mA..I used Neocore on constant loop till battery was dead..
Samsung 1650mA = 4 hours 15 minutes;
Anker 1900 = 5 hours 5 minutes..
This extra battery could give someone the extra battery life to get them thru the day..Samsung do their own replacement 2000mA battery with new back door which fits flush with device back..Maybe its too late to buy another battery with SGS3 on way but folk locked into 24 month contracts this could be worth it as a boost to their daily life..

salma, 26 Mar 2012is sg2 better or htc sensetionSGS2 is better,,HTC Sensation has its essential aerials connected to the fone via silly contacts instead of soldered to the motherboard..This will lead to decay in signal over time..The speakers are rubbish,actually they are feeble in HTC and microphones are no better..Most HTC cameras are poor and so is their video which is choppy..There is no way the Sensation is anywhere near the quality of SGS2..
The thing is we can only advise its your money and your decision..To tell the truth besides the Samsung Note the SGS2 is the top end Android smarphone till SGS3 comes out..Even the Samsung Nexus is poor with dim screen and feeble loudspeaker.

Can you provide me som... morei have had dis phone 4 months and its never let me down its great 4 callin texting and if u have something like facebook or skype u can download it frm da andriod store and if u like to be neet and tidy this phone is great 4 u becouse u can make ur own folders and name them u can also put apps in diffrent places and what u most use u can put it in ur homepage so when u unlock the phone it will be there!
