Also, dial *#06# and see if the IMEI nmbr shown there matches the IMEI number on your bill & box.
For updating the phone, take it to your nearest Samsung Care & get it updated by them for free within 30mins.

nina, 23 Feb 2012Does anyone know where is tv out setting fucntion in this s2? There is not any TV out setting on SII, but there is cable for " microUSB to HDMI" it works with all MHL handsets ( SII is MHL Compatible).

Otherwise the update process either way is very easy & pretty much automated.
Be sure you didn't get hold of a chinese duplicate of the legendary Galaxy S II, mate!! :D

Am from Nigeria, csc code on my galaxy s2 is XEN, I tried to change the code to Nigeria code using csc code software from market and *#272*ime no# but there is no other csc code option except XEN and (must be three chars) message shown if I click on installation. How can I solve this problem to change my code to Nigeria csc code?

One problem on my Samsung Galaxy S2 whenever i try to drive Asphalt 6 Adrenaline the screen always showing Tilt. Is that bugs? How to fix the issue or is there any setting?

I am unable to update my phone through 'settin>about phone>software update'.Everytime i try to update it flashes a message of 'connection failed' though i have 3G network speed,secondly i am unable to sync my samsung account and when i try to delete it to make a new acc it flashes a message that until you do not apply factory settings you are not allowed to do that.....sum1 pllzzz help me m still on verson 2.3.3,eagerly waiting for reply.....thank u in advance

i am a nokia lover man.i always buy nokia till nokia bankrup or not making any mobile set. if nokia never produce any dual core,quad core or core i set though i love nokia. i want to tell all the android lover not to come in nokia site.they never meet ur expectation bcs samsung sony already announce to make quad core set.nokia still make single core set.once upon a time nokia was the leader in mobile market bt now time change.dont bash or negative voting to nokia set.keep high voting to ur set. i accept that galaxy sets are the best. but i love my nokia

Does the maps works free via GPS like Nokia phones with GPS? I mean if you remove the SIM card and work offline , will tha GPS and the maps works (Navigation).
