Make a backup of your EFS before playing with ROM's. Go to XDA to see how to take the backup in proper method.
To everyone, take your EFS backup now, its a MUST DO for all. So go do it.

Great display, but rather unconfortable to hold in 1 hand (the same size HTC is better).
I am VERY disappointed by the poor wifi reception :( thinking about returning the phone for a refund.
The web is also full of users crying because of this:

I have bought s2 as well 1 month back, but i am facing a big problem with the antenna..the signal is too bad even though it shows that its full signal i cant do incoming and outgoing calls. can you please help me on this

i bought it 2 days ago, i had LG optimus black before, i didn't feel that It's a big change like I thought, the LG screen is much brighter than Samsung, but Samsung have better and vibrant colors, it's not that much difference, the only better thing is the battery life its so much better

hi all wanna ask about the audible sound on screen selection sometimes is off without knowing why ?!! i click on the icons and there is no sound !! it's on again when i shut down the phone and restart it what can i do for this problem ?? should i upgrade to 2.3.6 ?? if so how can i do it ? i'm from egypt and dont know if it's allowed to upgrade the phone i dont wanna risk losing it ... plz answer my question coz i need ur help

I have experienced some issues with my S2 and they are:
1- When using a case, it causes the person who's calling me to hear his own voice being echoed.
2- sometimes i hear i buzzing sound coming from the earpiece when im in a call.
3- Heating and fast battery drain.
Has anyone else experienced these problems, and if so, is there any solution to them?

May be try to reset to factory setting or may be try to reinstall the firmware.

I was a Nokia fans before. This is the phone first phone before i made my mind to become a Nokia fans since Nokia 8210 to N82. Everything you need is in Samsung Galaxy S2. Don't worry about the battery live. It's more than enough. I think all the smart phone will drain the battery if you use it for online but compare to BB or my old N82 for online this monster much better. For texting, phone call and a little browsing maybe 10 - 15 minutes it'll bring you for at least 2 days. The first firmware it's not to good, you'd get warm, but after the first it's fixed already. Even the last firmware 2.3.6 the battery getting better.
You can use battery saver to give you more time. I use juice defender.
I hope that you'll not doubt about this phone. Just buy it and you won't regret it.

cpu overclocked running at
1.7 mhz
holy dam its really fast
page loads much faster than befor
gpu overclocked to
450 mhz where its was 260 befor
chainfire 3d
it runs any 3d game
nova hd now playable
deleted loads ov internal apps
ram showing 780mb task manager befor was showing 650mb
wow its a massive diffrence
but battery dies 15% more
but then again u can under or over volatage
u gain complete access ov the phone
never newed that till rooting
who gives a dam about warranty
now just total enjoy
really so happy
