Regarding your problem, it's impossible to say from here, if you're having that problem all time when you make a call then you better get it serviced.

Hello all fellow S2 users,
I can hear a distinct hiss/noise in my earpiece when i am on a call even wen the other person is quiet. As a consequence if the other person is speaking very softly his voice is completely overshadowed by the noise. So i am not getting the best call quality on my S2. Anybody else having the same issue. I am from India. Is it bcoz of the noise reduction feature of S2? If yes then anyway to disable it? Thanks..

I just wanna ask. Is texture of the Black Samsung Galaxy S II different from that of the texture of the White one. Because on the photos that I've seen, the White one seems to be smooth but the Black one isn't. Please reply. I'll be buying this phone next week.

be sure it has enough battery before updating...
mine successfully updated from gingerbread 2.3.3 to 2.3.6 using pc suite...

2. open kies after install
3. connect your data cable from pc to cp
4. check for an update if there is any update in your country. then click update - you can check also youtube ---- kabayan.. :)

ive noticed that after upgrading the phone software the unit has started rebooting often. i have to remove the sim card pin so i can receive calls and msgs if the unit is in my bag. how can i revert to the old firmware?

horizontal position but it took more
than 5 sec to rotate from horizontal
position to vertical position. Is this

Anonymous, 24 Jan 2012Had this for 1 month now, and it havent hanged up on me yet... morethanks man took your advice and upgraded firmware to XILA2 2.3.6 via odin on xda. battery life has increased a good 50% and I was getting a day and a half already with heavy use. hardly use my laptop anymore. Can't wait for the SGS3.

It seem that I9100 fare better compare to I9100G, if price of both units is the same then I9100 should be a better option since Samsung improved the I9100 I/O, 3D performance and battery life with the latest Android firmware ver 2.3.5. But if short battery life is your main concern and you don’t want to mess with the firmware update thing then I9100G should be good enough for you. On the other hand, if you are some hardcore gamer and like to play with the custom firmware and kernel modification thing then you should try to get the model I9100 instead.
