When is the 2.3.6 will be available in Australia, some countries already have 2.3.6 while Australia latest version is 2.3.5, cmonn Oz we are left Behind when. It comes to latest upgrades.

by the way guys, i have installed a battery widget which constantly gives the live reading of battery temperature, surprisingly while charging+ surfing over edge, my phone was showing 50 degree Celsius. it is kind of weird, and i was stunned to c the battery which gave a nice heat out of its 3,7v capability. one more thing, even the battery being of 3.7v, my battery widget shows the battery output more than 4v. i mean, this is crazy, i dont understand, hw can this happen. but i am prity sure about the heat it radiates as even while charging and while playing games, internet surfing , or even using ICS launcher, i feel that excessive regularly. i am prity sure that this will damage the components in future. till the time the phone is covered under warrenty, its ok, but after that it will be quite expensive to deal with for the each and every part to be replaced damaged by heat

I9100 is I9100.
I9100G is I9100G.
Non G is better.

jojo, 02 Jan 2012Hey, thanks for your guidance in saving battery consumption... mores3 will take lot of time to come may be in june or july and yes g version is not so powerful as original s2 . if u want to buy original one try to buy online or u can get samsung galaxy s2 hd if it is avilable in ur country hd version has better display den original s2 but less processing power den original one. but u will not feel any difference in any processing acxept the gamin which is better on original s2.

Let me give u some tips from my experience usi... moreI don't think I'll be getting sgs2 anymore as I went back to the shop (that told me left 3 units without G the day before), and another salesperson told me no more :( Oh well.. I'm not thinking of getting the G version either way.
I did consider Note but it's kinda too big for my hand to handle, lol... My thumb could barely reach half of the 5.3 inch screen. There's high chance I might drop the phone very often. Haha... I'm a girl btw. :P
Anyway, thanks for your info about the G and without G. Appreciate it :)

Do you have any problem with camera shooting? My S2 is I9100T. The phone performance is great, fast and battery lasts more than 2 days after upgrading to 2.3.6. It has only problem with camera. When shooting inside with flash, both image and video are always darker than what we see in the screen before shooting (when using auto ISO and expo value = 0). Do any of you face the same problem with this issue? For image shooting in the room with less light, the shooting image is more or less acceptable if I put the iso = 400, and expo value = 1.5 or 2. Any advice to improve the camera performance is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
