I have this phone so for 20 days so far, I had a nokia before, very easy to use, very easy to transfer contacts from a nokia to the S2, for that kind of screen size the battery is good 8/10 it can take me 3 days aprox. Samsung showed to me that sometimes is good to try something new every now and then, I had being using only Nokia phones for the last 12 years. and to be honest I found some things that I would like other brands to have. Alsovalue for money not bad.
I might come back with questions after I get more ‘’deep’’ into this phone.
Any good side ?

Ppl are not evrn having updates including myself and they still claim its awesome. shut ur nouth. i prefer to have an iphone with much better afer sales services and not buggy untested apps

Talk time of Galaxy Is 1.5hr higher. Rest depend on your likeness, Android or IOS, your choice. :)

I have a friend who bought a galaxy s and after seeing and holding my sgs2,.he said he should've waited for the sgs2 instead. So yeah there are improvements like the camera, display size, processor, etc. :)

Basically m from India. I have a SE w810i model since 4 years and m using it without flaws. luking forward to get an s2 this christmas but, again there is s3 coming over. s2 has set the trend in the mobile smartphone industry. shud i buy s2 or wait for s3. I love to surf the net, watch videos, capture pictures and enjoy apps from the android community.
If ever i buy then what manufacture wud i prefer. Korea or China made? How to make out differences in the original i9100 and the i9100g models.
Please help me here guys.

Follow what I wrote then you can update your firmware to 2.3.6. Beacause I am also Cambodian, and made phone updated in Canbodia!

windows uses tiles instead of icons and claiming they made something out of the box, what is the difference between icons & tiles? they have exactly the same use. its just like a two lane set of icons. icons are even look more attractive & friendly to use than tiles. yes the wp7 transition is amazing but the ui as a whole is complicated. if only android tabs have all the functions & features offered by the windows 7 for computers or laptops, like print, snip, heavy realtime multi tasking, and many many more, i will not use my laptop anymore & stick with my tab, y? simply because its so easy to use. i wish there is android for computers & laptops too. because there are a lot of tasks or jobs that only computers powered with windows can do, so i have to transfer my documents or data to my computer to do it.

Hi I know this might sound like a stupid question but I appreciate your response, I have sgs1 and am thinking of upgrading to sgs2 but I want to know if there is a real improvement from sgs1 as I have not used a dual core phone before. Thank you in advance.
