I know a dual-core processor is supposed to heat up, but a phone engieer/creator is supposed to find a cooling solution.
The phone's problems are well documented, just try to google "pink spot>", yellow tinting" and you'll see sites, videos and photos documenting the problems this phone has since the beginning.
There's no denying: This phone has serious faults and bugs:
> Camera pink spot;
> Screen Yellow Tint;
> WiFi signal.
And there are other problems (GPS reception, e.g..
As far as the pink spot, Samsung have never assumed the problem, but they have now lowered the Nexus' camera to 5 MPX, as they recognise the camera's sensor is too small and lower resolutions are preferred "to avoid chromatic aberrations" (their words, not mine!)
Saying "if you don't like your S2, sell it" won't make anyone happy.
We've signed 1/2 years contracts and we're stuck with the phone.
I wish this phone kept its promises, but it doesn't.
I wish the S2 was a quality product, but it isn't!
I wish I could try another model/another brand...
But I can't!

I have used many (iPhone 4, Nokia N9, Samsung Omnia just to name a few) and have settled on this phone as out of all current smartphones to be my personal one because this one seems the best in overall performance. My guess is that your equipment is faulty or your network provider is not offering you a service that takes advantage of the phones power. The only true rival to this phone would be the Motorola Razr. Still I went the SGSII because I like the way Kies and Kies air (the software) worked, and how it got all my iPhone libery and bought it straight across as well.

i own dis phone.everything is superb xcept wit da noise reduction is on, da other party is not hearing me wel.but this does not hapen wen i turn off da function.any1 experiencing da same problem?

i have the original piece of samsung galaxy s2 in india. And not a clone one. And u guys should agree that the processor is damn slow and not of 1.2ghz. It takes about 2min to load one page.the ringtone volume also is not audible. And now iam sick of it.and want to sell it. My advise to indian customers dont fall in trap of huge sgs2 fan comments and use your brain and choose wisely. Becoz its your hard earned money. The decission is yours.

AnonD-27946, 08 Dec 2011I love this phone BUT its battery life sucks, it can only l... moreTry to disable function that u r not using for example blue-tooth and wi-fi, lower the brightness since u don't need to use full brightness to see properly, close background apps if u r not using it (this is to reduce the burden for the processor thus reduce battery usage) and when charging try to charge your phone until it is fully charge before you unplug it from charger, do not charge you phone half-way if you are not in emergency to use it. If still not working well, try to switch off your phone, take off the battery, leave few seconds (5-10 sec), put back battery and start it again. Everything should be find by now. If still problems, check your battery, might be faulty.
