Should i clear cache files from the apps(browser etc..),is it necessary and good for the phone?If clean, whether the phone will work better?Please answer if anyone knows.THANK YOU.

Hi... I am using S11 with "android version 2.3.3 and Baseband version I9100DDKE4 and Kernel version 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF3-CL276555 root@DELL101#2 and build number GINGERBREAD.XWKF3". I am looking to upgrade it to 2.3.5, can you please guide me through the steps to upgrade.

X.x im getting really confuse. i know there is no p... moreYou should do some research on internet by searching "Samsung Galaxy S2 problem" keyword to see whether if you can accept the possible problem happen to your future new phone, my Galaxy S2 unit was power off itself failed to switched on back, battery die off in 3 hours after fully charged, and error message "battery disconnected" when tried to charge battery, therefore my keyword search is "samsung galaxy s2 battery disconnected" and etc. Good luck and happy researching !

When I connect my SGS2 to my laptop via USB cable Kies it says "This model does not support upgrade via Kies".
It is Gingerbread,
how then should I upgrade it to ICS?

zzz.... X.x im getting really confuse. i know there is no perfect phone... there will be issue thats for sure. what i just want to know is that if it is negligible or maybe there is a solution for it. my worst concern is the overheating issue, was it improved or any solution on how to lessen the heat issue.
im buying it on the 26th of november and i really need some feedback, btw im prom phil. pls give me an opinion on whether to buy this phone or maybe go with an HTC EVO 3d or HTC Sense Xe.

how many more ho... moreI do not know if the MESH case will fit, but by looking at pictures of the MESH case I think it should fit.
I need to use the battery for atleast a week before I can say anything about the batterylife, but so far it is definetly better than the old/smaller battery.
I do not think I have the time to do a real batterytest, timing everything I do, or stream flash movies from justin.tv from a fully charged battery until the phone turn itself of, but if I do I will let you know.

Samsung Galaxy S2 shut down itself and failed to switch on back, battery last for 3 hours after 5th day purchasing the phone. Failed to charge the phone; error message “Battery Disconnected” when plugging travel charger on 9th day after date purchased. Samsung refused to change new unit even phone faulty less than 2 weeks, technician expect customer to send mobile to service center every time same problem persist. Samsung technician is blaming market application causing phone problem even never take other aspect to consideration like battery or phone circuit faulty.

Overheating- NO. 100% sure.
Battery drain- NO and Yes. Its not a problem of the device but Gingerbread's or I should say Android. Believe me or not, whatever you do, use Custom ROM, AOSP ROM, change kernels and everything, it will be there. So I9100 has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Yellow tint- YES. On the left side of the device, especially on grey backgrounds, with less than 20% brightness. Yes, I do believe its a hardware issue. But there is no perfect phone out there you know. Besides, I am using Screen Adjuster app and turned blue to +7 higher, which reduced the yellow tint by 20% or so. You can modify the DNIE settings as per your need anytime. See XDA topics dude ;)
I am from India. I am on XWKJ1, 2.3.5, using it for a month now. Samsung will never release a firmware upgrade for India, so who would wait.

You are from India right? u on 2.3.4 or is it 2.3.3 only?
